To start the hosts were great but... You don't get what is advertised. Initially we booked because they advertised breakfast delivered to the room, didn't happen even though we inquired. They advertised a safe, no safe anywhere. They advertised daily clean, that didn't happen either. Breakfast room, I suggest you look at our pictures that we took of the 'breakfast room' Good things were a very comfortable bed. Very responsive hosts and that's about it. The location was not what we had read about in the reviews. The area made me feel unsafe, and I have not once felt unsafe in our 5 week of travels. Taxis are impossible to get in Rome unless you go to a taxi stand, they are not local to this property. Regarding the room, yes it is a guest house but I did not expect to not have any amenities in the room. No coffee/tea facilities, no standard hotel products like hand soap etc and no chairs or tables. We asked for a chair and they got us one. The bedside lights weren't working so I asked about them and they looked into it really quickly but apparently the problem was bigger than we thought and they wanted to bring in an engineer. I was uncomfortable with that especially because there was no safe and we were not in the room. Their communication was really good though. The bathroom needs a good deep clean but it was OK for the 3 days. This stay was at the end of a week holiday so I had lots to compare this property too. Would I stay there again. Probably not but I did like the hosts. I think it's really important to do an honest review to support other travellers. You get what you pay for 😊
