Clean, Comfortable Stay We arrived late, but the manager was incredibly kind and accommodating. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and just what we needed. He also gave us a few local restaurant suggestions, which was appreciated. Location-wise, it’s conveniently about a five-minute walk from the train station—perfect for our early morning departure—and around a 20-minute walk to the Colosseum. That said, the neighborhood felt a bit sketchy, especially after dark. On our way back from dinner, it became clear that pickpocketing is a real issue in the area—definitely not exaggerating. We stayed alert and had no problems, but it’s something to be aware of.

I am writing this review not to be petty but to give others the knowledge that the owner is awful and you should spend your money elsewhere if you don’t want to be yelled at, constantly. When I arrived to Roma Termini, my entire suitcase was stolen ( WARNING) and as a solo female on her first day of travel I was absolutely beside myself as I had nothing but my phone and passport. I messaged them to let them know my check in time would be later as I had to wait at the police station for 5 hours to report my bag being stolen. When I arrived I was crying, the host said nothing but just wanted me to pay. Then because I hadn’t drunk or eaten anything all day and night plus beinf in shock I was extremely sick. I ended up being sick on my self while crying on my bed. I was so embarrassed and I felt terrible as I just arrived. I told the hostel manager whilst crying telling him I was so sorry and then told him again that I had been robbed and I’m extremely unwell. He did not saying anything, just ignored me and then got angry at me and said “ ON THE BED ? WHAT?! UGH”. I left the hostel that night to stay with a friend of a friend as I didnt feel comfortable there. 2 days later I went back and as I opened the door he yelled at me and said “ NO. I JUST CLEANED THE FLOORS. YOU SIT IN THE KITCHEN. “ After going back and forth I sat in the kitchen. To make the time pass I decided to make myself some pot noodles. In he comes in to the kitchen “Go to your room. Get. Go” I said “ You literally made me come in here. No, I’m making my lunch and there is boiling water in the pot”. He then yelled “ Leave it there. It’s cleaning time, go to your room”. Then, I was trying to open the padlock that he provides In the individual lockers and they are cheap quality locks that get stuck and do not work. The other girls in my room said that theirs are not working either and they use their own. I asked him to try and help with the lock and instead he yells at me and blames me for locking it wrong?!? He yelled and said “HOW DID YOU DO THIS? HOW HAVE YOU BEEN DOING IT YOUR WHOLE STAY?”. I told him I hadnt been there for 2 nights. A host that doesnt know a guest hasnt even slept in the bed???? The next day - I saw him yelling at a girl in my room. Her check out time was 11am and she was running late, it was 11.15 and she was putting the final things in her bags and was very stressed by his pressure. He barged into the room, opened the door and yelled at her “ WHAT ARE YOU DOING? WHAT IS THIS? HAVE YOU RESERVED ANOTHER NIGHT HUH? “ She kept saying sorry, my english isnt good and I told him to get out and that shes nearly done so leave her alone. Also 1 out of 2 of the toilets dont flush. If someone doesnt have empathy for a guest who shows up crying it means all they care about is your money and if something happens they will not do anything to help you. Its also so strange to me that its a female only dorm run only by a man who yells at women. Choose s

Don’t stay with these scammers. I stayed here back in August and paid cash upon arrival, then they charged me as a “no show” (although I informed them I would be arriving a day late) and charged my card again. I have tried contacting the property numerous times on different platforms and have gotten 0 response. Absolutely terrible customer service and untrustworthy people.
