Trevi Rome Suite

I highly recommend this place! Beautiful building, with a cozy courtyard, spacious, clean, bright rooms, cleaned every day. Very attentive staff. We arrived late in the evening, after the reception had closed, the administration sent me detailed video instructions on WhatsApp on how to get into the room, and where the key is. On the day of departure, with a late flight, you can leave your luggage for free. The location is very cool, you can walk everywhere, there is a great restaurant downstairs! I will be happy to come back and recommend it to my friends!

The structure defines itself as a “first class guesthouse” and judging by the price (executive suite around €280/day) it really seems to be. Needless to say, the first class features stop there. Given the excellent location, the rest is more similar to a 3-star structure but on the other hand with a 2-star or less service. In fact, talking about service for this structure also seems inappropriate because it simply does not exist. One could argue that it is a guesthouse and not a hotel and that therefore the service features are incomparable between the two types of structure but, in my opinion, when you pay a not at all negligible amount, everything must be judged in relation to the amount paid. So let's start by saying that clearly you will have to carry your luggage yourself up to the third floor where the reception is located; without any help from anyone other than the life-saving elevator. Even if everyone (old people, disabled people, etc.) will have to climb the last two steps, dragging their own luggage, before entering the structure. English: Let's continue by saying that you will not be guaranteed any breakfast in the morning and no space for socializing even minimal; the structure is a simple row of rooms one after the other. If you then expect at least a daily change of linen (are we in a high-level structure or not) the helpful staff will remind you that the bathroom towels are changed every 3 days but cleaning is daily. It's my fault that I didn't ask, already shocked by the news, if the bed linen was also included in the linen. And perhaps because of my forgetfulness they decided to never change them for the entire duration of my stay. In total 9 nights without ever changing the sheets. I have also been in super cheap and spartan hotels or structures in my life but something like this had never happened to me until now. As if that weren't enough I also felt mocked when I contested that the room booked and paid for in advance was an executive suite while the one assigned to me was a simple suite. As proof, I showed the staff the descriptive photo from their website that showed the room assigned as a “normal suite” while the one booked was different and larger. The staff informed me that unfortunately the executive suite was not available and therefore I would have to keep the one they had given me. No mention of compensation or financial compensation from them since the executive suite is obviously more expensive than the normal one. But by now I was almost enjoying myself for having chosen a hotel that I would never choose again. In fact, to avoid further deceiving myself about the real level of the guesthouse, I discovered how the bed linen where I slept was actually put in order daily. In addition to never changing the sheets, only the top part was pulled and put in order

With my family (2 adults and 2 children) we stayed 2 nights at Trevi Rome Suite. The residence is in a very central location, on the second floor of a period building in excellent condition, with a charming internal courtyard. The room was very spacious and would have been comfortable even for 6 people. The night's rest was very good, with comfortable beds and pillows and good silence. The bathroom was large and equipped with an unusual solution with 2 showers. The building has a daytime concierge service which, from what we understood, is only present on weekdays, while the entrance to the residence is still guarded 12 hours a day 7 days a week by extremely courteous and helpful staff, ensuring excellent security. In summary, the experience was very positive.

Excellente expérience en plein centre de Rome et au calme. Grande chambre, literie très confortable et propreté irréprochable. Accueil parfait et explications claires. Bravissimo ! Il ne manquait qu'une petite chose : une vraie machine à café !
