The Bridge Suites

Comfortable room. The location was perfect as it is right across castel st Angelo and an easy 15 min walk to the Vatican. This hotel is a bit of a hidden gem as it was difficult to find the first day, its a random door in the wall and there are multiple floors with other businesses so it was confusing but thankfully they will send you instructions on how to reach them and locate the floor. I would recommend this hotel, perfect location and room was comfy!

We really enjoyed our stay at this very small boutique hotel. There are only 5 rooms with limited desk hours. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet during our 4 night stay. The hotel is on a pedestrian street, so our cab from the airport dropped us off at the corner. It's the first door on the left from the bridge street corner, right across from a restaurant. There are no signs. You will see a large wooden door and the call buttons, one which says the Bridge Suites. The hotel is on the 4th floor - nothing will say that. You need your key to get into the building after hours, and a code to get into the hotel which you will receive at checkin. One bonus was this room had working AC. At the other hotels we stayed in Italy, they all have and advertise AC but we discovered it's turned off until late spring, requiring you to leave windows open. This hotel had its own small unit that was working even in March. We were able to walk almost everywhere. The taxi stand was a bit far to take our luggage, so we called an Uber to the train station when we left.

Great accommodations in a fantastic, vibrant neighbourhood that’s very walkable. Which is good because there is very little parking or public transit available in the vicinity. The four storey walk up has a small, closet elevator available, but not one we noticed until after we had done the stairs the first time (with our luggage) so if you’ve got bags with you, keep an eye out for that lift when you arrive!
