In jeder Beziehung ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.Sehr ruhige Lage und in 15min zu Fuss mitten in der Stadt. Auch das Frühstück liess keine Wünsche offen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Schöner Garten.

El desayuno no es gran cosa. Lo mejor, sin duda, la amabilidad de una de las camareras, Laura, que estuvo atenta en todo momento y con gran disposición. Estaría muy bien que incluyeran más clases de leche, no sólo de vaca, zumos naturales, no envasados, y opciones más healthy.

L'hotel è situato sull'Aventino in contesto residenziale e tranquillo praticamente dietro la caratteristica piazza dei Cavalieri di Malta. Si raggiungono a piedi la metro in 15', le fermate dei bus in 7'/10'. Vicino al quartiere di testaccio con ampia scelta per la ristorazione. Buona l'accoglienza, personale professionale, la struttura è curata e dotata di tutti i confort. Camera non molto grande dotata solo di un piccolo armadio in stile. Bagno con originale doccia realizzata in ampia vasca in muratura. Lo stile di tutto l'hotel è un po' a "tinte forti" ma ci può stare nel contesto turistico. Colazione buona, scelta ampia nel dolce ma meno ampia nel salato. Nel complesso da consigliare anche se temo che i prezzi siano molto variabili in base alla stagionalità

Hotel che ci ha sorpreso , diffidavo avevo dei preconcetti , ma mi sono ricreduto , ambiente tranquillo e raffinato , personale molto professionale e disponibile , comodissimo se si arriva in auto , abbondanza di parcheggi , posizione tranquilla , si raggiunge il centro con una bella passeggiata …, ma si ritorna volentieri in taxi

Sweet boutique hotel in a renovated early 20th century villa on the Aventine hill, an upscale residential area. I would stay here again without hesitation. The whole property is nicely decorated and well maintained. Everything clean and in working order. Many or all of the rooms are uniquely decorated so that no two are alike. My room had a small terrace and lots of sunlight during the day. Other rooms may be different. The hotel and neighborhood are quiet all day and night. Excellent reception, breakfast room, and housekeeping staff. Everyone I encountered was friendly and efficient. The San Anselmo is part of a three-property hotel group along with the San Pio (around the corner) and the Aventino (down the street). Each hotel has its own breakfast room and, I believe, bar, but the restaurant (called The Hill) is in the San Pio. The Hill is good-traditional Roman dishes with a twist served in a relaxed atmosphere with excellent service. The Aventine hill starts out at a moderate incline but gets steep toward the top, which is where the hotel is located. I stayed on the Aventine hill in order to be away from the crowds and noise that surround most of Rome’s major and minor attractions—but within an inexpensive taxi or easy walk to them. A taxi to the Vatican cost 11 euros. A walk back from the Pantheon took 30 minutes but it’s Rome so it’s a lovely walk! Tip: Mercato di Testaccio, down the Aventine hill in the Testaccio area, is the local covered but open air fruit, vegetable, meat, and bakery market and food hall.

The Hotel Sant'Anselmo is just a delight. The staff is professional, warm, and always ready to help. It's in an area that is now my favorite in Rome, filled with the most wonderful birds. Yes it's a little out of the way, but you can still walk to the Mercato Testaccio, Baths of Caracalla, Circus Maximus and more. A total delight from their in home breakfast spread to aperitivo in the evening.

Hotel muito simpático mas a necessitar algumas remodelações. Pequeno almoço algo fraco mas saboroso. Insonorização dos quartos algo deficiente. Ótima climatização. Staff muito simpático. Hotel muito bem localizado para quem quer visitar Roma a pé.

Dans le quartier Ripa en face du monastère de San Anselmo. Très calme et à proximité du circo Massimo et du Colisee. Les chambres sont décorées avec beaucoup de goût. Les équipements sont modernes. Le petit déjeuner est moyen mais nous sommes ravis de notre séjour. Certaines personnes de la reception parlent français et sont à l'écoute des demandes avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Je recommande sans hésiter.
