Bon Ton Suite

If you’re looking for a stay with a residential feel, this is a great place to stay. Very convenient to get to from the train and within walking distance to all monuments. I loved the key pad entry to the room and building, staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean and convenient, excellent value. Sparse but clean and comfortable, excellent value for the price. Somewhat noisy neighborhood at night, but we were prepared for this since it was so close to the city center. Reception was only open for 3 hours daily, but it was easy to communicate with the staff via WhatsApp so nothing to complain about there. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We arrived late at night but were provided with the codes to access our room beforehand - very convenient! Many good restaurants in the neighborhood, supermarket and metro was only a five minute walk away. Termini central station fairly close by as well. No breakfast provided, but this was no issue as the neighborhood is full of mini-marts and there was a small refrigerator in our room.

Terrible and SHOCKING experience at Bon Ton Suite. On the first night after using the toilet, I turned the handle to leave and it would not open. It was evidently broken to begin with and there was absolutely no way of unlocking the door from the inside. I was stuck in the small bathroom, shouting for help out of the window to surrounding appartments for almost an hour, but no one heard. Thankfully my friend then arrived back to the room and was able to let me out from the outside. I was panicked because I had no idea how long I would be locked in and it was very claustrophobic. This is a HUGE health and safety hazard. Imagine if someone had been travelling alone, they would have been there until someone eventually came to find them. When I reported this to the receptionist in the morning (there was no reception at night), he showed no customer service skills. He was dismissive and disbelieving of what happened, and annoyed that we didn't report this immediately after it happened the night before. After a lot of back and forth, the hotel eventually gave us 20% off of only one night. We were also highly disturbed by this note pinned to the door. Not necessarily the fault of the hotel, but I did not sleep peacefully after seeing this..... (see image)

Stayed here during Easter and was as described. Quite basic, but had everything we needed, hairdryer, mini fridge, shower, wardrobe etc. Location was about a 30min walk from the main attractions but this is what we expected and there were plenty of nice restaurants within a 10min walk of the hotel. The only thing I would say is that make sure you have the codes to enter the building before you arrive. We booked through Love Holidays and because of this didn’t receive an email telling us how to access the building from the owners, so contact Bon Ton Suites before you go! The bed was not very comfy but after asking for extra blankets all was ok. Would recommend for a budget stay in Rome.

Been there for 3 nights, although some of the reviews with thin walls was true it was not unpleasant The whole building was clear the room also Small bathroom corridor And the location very convenient if you make some research for busses The check in was easy and the staff provided many informations also very cooperate I will return for sure
