La struttura corrispondeva perfettamente alla descrizione. Posizione ottima, personale molto gentile e super disponibile.

Reception is only manned until 5pm and you can have a check in later up to 9pm free of charge but you must let them know in advance. After 9pm I believe it’s a 20euro charge. It’s not ideal when you arrive in Rome, as you are a bit restricted for getting straight to the hotel. Service was excellent, the lady who showed me to my room was lovely and most helpful. The location is amazing and lovely view at sunrise. When you arrive, there is a large door with 3 x flags above and you must press the buzzer there. The room itself was good however, the bed was not as comfy as hotel beds usually are and the double was two singles so essentially felt like a single. It is on the 5th floor and there is a tiny lift. If you’re not good with lifts as I’m not, it is quite a climb on the stairs. Worth considering if those might be an issue for you. As a solo female traveller, I do usually go for hotels but didn’t on this occasion. I did feel safe however the apartments are in a huge building and I probably wouldn’t stay in apartments on my own again. I think in a hotel, you do feel safer when travelling alone but just to note this would 100% not be an issue if I was with someone else. Also I had some very noisy neighbours one night and thankfully another man told them to keep the noise down a couple of times. I wouldn’t have been brave enough to do that on my own which have lead to a sleepless night! Having said that, I think the apartments are perfectly fine with an excellent location and the service was great. If you’re travelling with others then I think this is a good spot if the price is reasonable.

As an experienced traveler, I always do thorough research when choosing where to stay. I check maps, read reviews, and take extra care in selecting a place to stay, especially when traveling alone. For my one-night stay in the center of Rome, I booked Locanda Parlamento, but my experience here was far from what I expected. When I say I’m an experienced traveler, I mean that I know how to choose accommodations. I booked my stay at this property and received a confirmation. The property even reached out a few days prior to confirm my booking, provide maps, and share useful information, which initially gave me a good impression. However, when I arrived and was taken to my room, I was shocked. it's a room in an old, run-down building. It felt more like a place rented out by the hour, if you know what I mean. The building was dirty, and the room itself was in poor condition. The reception is only open before 9 pm, and after that, there’s no one available to assist you. While the staff was friendly and helpful initially, things took a turn when I needed help later in my stay. The room itself was uncomfortable, with broken AC, and the temperature was freezing. I tried to contact the staff, but the person supposed to respond was unavailable after 1 am. I had to sleep in a cold room. To make matters worse, I left food (pizza in a box) in the kitchen to have for lunch, but when I returned, it was covered in ants. My bags were also full of ants. When I informed the receptionist, there was no apology or offer of help. Additionally, when I checked out, the key got stuck in the lock, and there was no one to assist me. I’m genuinely surprised by the positive reviews of this property. Perhaps it was just my bad luck with the room I was given, but I would strongly advise others to avoid staying here. In summary, my experience at Locanda Parlamento was disappointing, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable place to stay in Rome. I guess I should add any photos of the food covered in ants?

A disappointing experience There is no service. Office only opens at 8am and closes at 9pm. There is no telephone in the room. I had to leave before 7am. Nobody to help with my luggage, I dragged through the court yard to get to the huge, closed Portone that I had to,open to get to the street. By the stroke of luck, the taxi was still there. Altogether a stressful experience.I heard other people say, they will never stay there again!!

The only problem I find with the property is the elevator is on the second floor, you need to bring your luggage up one floor then you can take an elevator .
