good lacation, staff friendly

The place is close to all attractions. The room was clean the bathroom was good. The shower has hot water and the pressure was strong. Overall it was pretty good, the only thing I do not like will be the indoor light was quite dim.

I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Palazzo Caruso. The staff were professional and helpful and the facilities were excellent.

Here is my testimonial. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience. We didn't even get to stay. We booked a room for three people, me, my wife and my sister-in-law, her sister. We asked for another bed, specifically for my sister-in-law. They said that the bed would be placed there, but I thought it was a "normal" bed. When we arrived, the room was really spacious, as shown on the website, however, the bed that was placed there was not a normal bed, it looked like a camp bed, much simpler. It would be a problem to sleep there for 6 nights, there was a good chance of back pain. My wife and I didn't like it, we spoke to my sister-in-law who would arrive hours later and she didn't like it either. We spoke to the guy in charge who received us, said that we wouldn't be able to stay and luckily we found rooms available at another hotel nearby. I went back there later to speak to the person in charge about the refund. The lady, very polite, told me that she couldn't give a refund because she would lose money and the rate was non-refundable. I explained the situation and said that it was different from what was shown on the website. She insisted that everything was on the website. But it really was different. She also said that she would try to sell the room and if she could, she would refund it. I was not satisfied, of course. We will try other ways to get the money back. Pay close attention to what is offered and what you will find. I am still waiting for some communication from the hotel. Nothing personal against the people there, but I want to resolve this.
