We spent two nights at this charming boutique guesthouse in Trastevere and had a great experience. Laura, the host, was warm and welcoming, offering excellent tips on local dining and sights. The neighborhood is full of character, with plenty of cafes, restaurants, and small shops to explore. Our room was comfortable, stylish, and just right for a relaxing stay.

Our stay at Palazzo Baj in Trastevere was truly unforgettable. Nestled in the perfect spot between Rome’s cozy, authentic charm and its vibrant energy, the location offered easy access to all the city’s iconic highlights—including the Colosseum. What made our experience even more special was our host Laura, whose warmth and incredible hospitality made us feel instantly at home. She went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Palazzo Baj was the ideal place to celebrate our honeymoon—romantic, comfortable, and filled with the magic of Rome.

We loved the location of this hotel! Away from the bustle of most things, but still close to everything! The bed was great and everything was very clean and we would definitely come back again! The breakfast bar with refreshments was a nice treat and touch

Palazzo Baj is a fantastic place to stay. Laura was/is welcoming and very helpful with any and all needs. Travestere is such a wonderful part of town, away from the business of Rome, yet closest enough to walk to just about any spot. Its town is also quaint with lots of places to eat. Would highly recommend Palazzo Baj! Would happily return.

From ease of checking in, to the actual room which was spacious and very clean. Laura the owner was beyond professional and very nice. My husband and I, fell at home. The location has easy to access Rome’s historical areas, and safe. I highly recommend!

It was a lovely find in a fabulous part of the city. The room was everything we wanted and more. The little touches in the common area were excellent, and our host was warm and welcoming. The beds were supremely comfortable, and the room was spotlessly clean. We found ourselves visiting the weekend of the pope's funeral—everywhere was crazy busy, and on the Saturday evening, we appeared to have a group waiting for a bus outside our window at 4 a.m. We put this down to the fact that it was an exceptional weekend and a bank holiday; it did not impact our stay. Everything is within walking distance - bring comfy shoes

Ho soggiornato in questa Guest House per un un week end a Roma e devo dire che oltre alla location super centrale e la cura delle camere ho trovato un’accoglienza incredibile. L’host mi ha consigliato dei posti da visitare che sicuramente da turista non avrei trovato. Lo consiglio vivamente!
