Before arriving, our friend calls me and cheers me up by saying that he will give us the room with an internal bathroom; cheers. Now comes the good or rather the bad: room n.2 window in a closed courtyard with air conditioners and pipes surrounding the property. Wardrobe covered with the Rome map brochure to camouflage the moldy and chipped furniture, the bed or better a mattress not even made of foam rubber placed on a rotten wooden platform, in front of a cot with a bedspread that dates back to the Kosovo war, the walls of the room full of mold and marked (they didn't even bother to paint the room), they don't exist lamps on the bedside tables, perhaps bought at Porta Portese, above the bed there was a canopy evidently made of plywood which must have contained two light bulbs which were intended to serve as night lamps. Now we arrive at the bathroom, full of humidity with an aerator that turns off after 5 minutes, a useless shower with hot water that takes forever to get to, the sink resting on a table, there is no "bidet". A real theft that cost us 150 euros, I repeat, one hundred and fifty euros, without a cash receipt because to pay with the card you had to go to another facility. In the morning we ESCAPED WITHOUT EVEN HAVING breakfast. We had it at the Bar in Via Merulana with hot croissants and fresh pastries. I assume all responsibility for this review of mine, I advise TripAdvisor travelers: RUN AWAY!!
