Eleni Apartments

To start with some positives, the location was fantastic - a 5 min stroll from the beach, shops and restaurants. There is a pool that is open to the public literally next door, which was lovely and very convenient. The aircon in the rooms was also very effective. The gardens are beautifully kept - more so than the rooms! Upon arrival, we found the previous occupants hair ties still hanging from the shower taps, crumbs in the kitchen cupboards and a dusty bathroom floor. Dish sponge was dirty and not changed between guests. Plenty to suggest that not much cleaning had happened. Ash tray on balcony not emptied once. We arrived late in the evening, so we received a message to say that our keys would be left in the door - which was absolutely fine. However, we didn’t see anybody at reception the entire week we stayed and received absolutely no communication regarding check-out. The bar opposite is loud and carries on late into the night, but closes its doors by midnight to limit the noise. This was not much of an issue for us, however if you are a light sleeper or prefer an early night, it’s definitely something to bear in mind as it may be an issue for you. All in all, we did enjoy our holiday.

Villa Eleni is a lovely place. Everything is close - to the sea, beach, restaurants, bars, shops! Eleni, Sokrates and Nikos are fantastic, they would open the sky to make you feel good. The rooms are clean and well-kept. Upon arrival, a nice surprise awaits in the fridge. This place is magical, nowhere in the world do I feel as good as there, all the people are very nice. I feel like I am in a big family there and that is why I come back there every year. In a month I will be there again and I am already moved at the thought. I miss all the people I met there. What a fabulous place to stay, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well equipped. Set in beautiful well cared for gardens and slap bang in the middle of things a short walk from the beach. Can’t hear noise though with doors and shutters closed and air con on! I would stay again.

Another fabulous holiday at Villa Eleni, I cannot praise this accommodation enough. My husband and I had a two bedroom apartment which had every facility we could wish for. I'm almost frightened to praise it too much incase it gets booked out! Eleni, Socrates and Nikos are perfect hosts, they make everyone feel special and constantly ask if there's anything we need. Often we got lovely surprises of delicious cakes along with a welcome pack of water, juice and cookies. Toiletries are provided as is a hair dryer and an iron and ironing board. The apartment is central to everything we loved, a beautiful beach, brilliant restaurants and evening entertainment. We were so sorry to leave but we will return next year and have booked to come back in June and September. Thanks so much Eleni and your lovely family for everything. Love Marion and Stewart.

What a great little find. We only stayed here for one night, unfortunately, as we just wanted a place to crash while spending the night in Roda. Eleni met us with a friendly welcome and showed us to our 2 bedroom apartment, which was immaculate. Bathroom was nice and modern, great shower. Bed was comfy and although we didn't use the kitchen, we could see that there was everything you would need, again it was spotless. We had a terrace at the side of the building which was quiet and private. The garden is lovely and there are loungers and tables and chairs for guests to use and the owners obviously take great pride in keeping it looking nice, lots of beautiful roses. The location is great too, restaurants are on the doorstep with the beach being a a couple of minutes walk. I would definitely recommend and will certainly return to Eleni apartments.
