Nicole, the front desk person went way above and beyond for us. We reserved at this property a few minutes before arriving and accidentally made the reservation at the Lexington Kentucky Best Western instead of the Lexington Virginia Best Western as we planned. When Nicole understood what had happened she took it out of our hands and said she would be happy to try and straighten the problem out with the third-party reservation service. She sent us off to have dinner and explore town. When we got back, she told us it should be taken care of and in a few days we should see the initial charge reversed. This had promised to be a tremendous problem as we were initially told by the reservation service that there would be a cancellation fee. Now, two days later, I see the charge has been completely reversed from our credit card. Major thanks and kudos to Nicole and the management of this property!

Don't put put off by the exterior. The outside looks a tad dated however the rooms are newly renovated and the beds are comfortable. Plenty of parking and off the far engough off the interstate so there is no road noise. A great value. Will stay here again if in the area.

If you are handicapped or have a difficult time walking this isn’t the place for you…. Parking is easy but steps to get to the room difficult with no handrails ramp far away… bathtub has nice handrails but try and step over the bathtub hahaha…. Impossible… won’t be going back

Very quiet and easily accessible to VMI and Washington & Lee University. Room was neat and clean and a comfortable temperature when entering. Fully stocked with a variety of food at the complimentary breakfast nook. Ample and safe parking.

Stopped her on our way North. Hotel price was good, clean and a very nice buffet breakfast. Only thing was desk clerk said was not from area and could not reccomend restaurant for supper. Next door is an Applebees and was good. They should have a printed list of local restaurants
