David in the Eighth Floor Lounge was great and made us feel welcome. He made sure we had everything we needed. Courteous and friendly.

Great team in concierge lounge! Dave was so kind, always checking on us if we needed anything and so enjoyable to talk to. Beth also made sure all the food was prepared and out at all times!

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve stayed at some of the most prestigious Marriott properties across the globe—Rome, London, New York, you name it. I’m a Lifetime Titanium member with over 1,400 nights under my belt. So when I say the service here stands out, I don’t say that lightly. Anna Peters, the front desk manager, is the kind of employee Marriott should be cloning. I walked in looking like I’d just finished patching a fence—not exactly Four Seasons material. Didn’t matter. Anna greeted me with warmth, respect, and handled every detail like a pro. No attitude, no assumptions, just genuine hospitality. Her soft skills and customer service instincts are top-tier. She made me feel like royalty without knowing a thing about who I was. Later, I took my parents to dinner at the hotel restaurant. Our server, Christine (hope I spelled that right), delivered an experience that honestly brought tears to my eyes. My mother is battling dementia and can be difficult in public settings. Christine handled it with grace, empathy, and professionalism that tells me this team is trained—or just made of better stuff. Either way, she was patient, kind, and absolutely outstanding. The hotel itself is going through a bit of construction, but you’d barely notice. They’re doing a great job working around it. Nothing felt messy, loud, or disruptive. If you’re coming to Rochester for Mayo, or anything else for that matter, this is where you stay. Not because of the building, but because of the people. Anna, Christine, and the entire staff are the gold standard. Marriott, take notes. This team is what hospitality is supposed to look like. 5 stars. A+. Will be back. — Jason W. The staff is tremendous! From the bellmen to the front desk. A special shout out to David and team in the club lounge. His attention and caring nature really makes a difference for those of us visiting based on access to the hospital. In an otherwise stressful environment, we are grateful for the peaceful and kind environment.

Very friendly bell hops. Bob and Glenn were great. Hotel was under construction at the time, but so was the whole city. Overall a fun experience.
