Great place with friendly staff, we really enjoyed our visit. Given it is a bit out of the way from the city center and hard to find, the price is a bit on the higher side. Breakfast was delicious, however it would have been nice if there was a healthier savory option.

Resting in Roanoke
Shirley's is quite a gem in the world od B&B accommodations! We are enjoying a spacious room with a king-sized bed, a comfortable sitting area, and access to the deck overlooking trees and low mountains, and a pool.
Our hosts ensure we have everything we need and made us feel welcome.

A paradise in the hills of Roanoke
Shirley's is a really wonderful experience! It has a countryside setting near the mountains. The suites are large and beautifully decorated, and Sheryl and Jeff are perfect hosts. After a long drive to Roanoke, I was happy to be welcomed with homemade apple pie and a cooler of wine. The full breakfast (included) was a FULL breakfast!
