Hampton Inn & Suites Roanoke Airport

This was a quick, one-night stay while attending an event downtown. Check-in was completed on-line. Room was ready at our arrival time of 4:00 PM. We never were acknowledged by the front desk as we entered and left the hotel, several times. The room was clean and well stocked. The shower never got to hot , in the morning and to get to semi-warm, the shower handle had to be placed midway between hot and cold. Our stay was quiet and we had a good night's sleep. The location of the hotel is approximately 10 minutes from downtown Roanoke. We did not have breakfast at the hotel as we had other plans. Check-out was completed on-line. As we left, we were not acknowledged.

We stopped at Hampton Inn Roanoke Airport for an overnight stay on our way home to NJ. A great hotel. Not sure why it only gets 3 stars. The rooms are big, bright, clean and comfortable. For a road trip stop, it could not have been better. As bad as the Hyatt Place Hotel on the way down was, Hampton Inn was so much better on our return home. No comparison.

Close proximity to airport very helpful. Nearby dining and shopping options appreciated.

Very nice hotel and location. Staff was great and helpful. Property was very nice and in a great location close to shopping and restaurants. Also close to the highway snd airport, yet quiet and peaceful and a desireable area. I would stay here again.

Our room had stains in the bathroom. The bathroom door was covered in something that looked like vomit or a spilled drink that was not cleaned. The carpet had a wet spot. And the bed had a white powder on the lower cover. When asked about cleaning those areas the front desk woman gave us the cleaning supplies to do it ourselves. I had booked to suites at the same time on the same invoice. But yet one room was on the second floor and one on the forth. I was told that they were too booked and couldn’t get us on the same floors let alone adjoining rooms like I was supposed to get.
