The service of the lady at the front desk is very good. The room is clean and tidy. What surprised me was that the room was equipped with 8 bottles of mineral water in advance. Finally, I didn’t have to ask for water again and again. The toilet was smart and I felt warm when I sat on it. The room was also very warm and there was a humidifier. Overall. The hotel is really nice when it comes to the decoration and the quality of items you find here and there. Yet, the service was rather confusing. I accidently booked a room with no windows, and, as i only stayed in Rizhao for two days and already travelled around for a bit, decided not to bother changing it. The heating in the room was okay at first and unbelievable later on; i literally couldn't fall asleep the whole night. When i asked to turn it down in the morning, i was suggested to change the room again. When i refused, they eventually turned it down, but just a bit, so i had to keep the door ajar pretty much all the time, which is not a pleasant experience in itself. I found some fruit later in the room, which was a nice gesture, but I'd rather be able to breathe normally 🙃

A friend came to Rizhao and booked a room for her. The hotel can see the sea and it was a great experience. I come to Rizhao for business trips once or twice a month. I have stayed at Novotel, Hampton by Hilton, Seaview Garden, Atour, All Seasons, Lavande, and Grandview. I tried Hilton Garden Inn with a try-it attitude and was very satisfied. The hotel is a certain distance from the sea, and it takes a few minutes to walk to the east gate. I can’t say the service of the young man who picked me up was good or bad. He didn’t smile and didn’t have much to say. I asked for a car when I came back from the beach and sent a message but didn’t get a reply. I made two phone calls but didn’t answer. Finally, I called on WeChat and said I got it. I didn’t feel good, so I stayed at both ends. We drove ourselves, and the general waiter for breakfast was the young man who drove the car. Without service, there were only a few seats that were not cleared when people left. We had to ask them to come and clear things up. The plates were placed on the table from the moment we entered the restaurant. Not to mention breakfast, I stayed for two nights and asked about check-out time at 9 a.m. on the third day. I was really speechless. I was told that the 100 deposit would be refunded later, and she said that it would be refunded after the aunt's check. There is also a problem that the mayonnaise in the restaurant is still there after it has expired, and someone has used it.

This hotel is at most 3.5 stars. The air conditioner vents were dirty and air conditioner was not working. I set it at 10 but in morning it was still at 28. Amenities were average too, like the towel was thin and just not what you expect. Also the safety light was missing from the room. Also the breakfast is poor and the assortment was very less. Many dishes were cold. I was just eating egg and coffee to be frank. I think they gave me such poor room because if booked with trip.com.

The room is large and spacious. Except for disposable slippers and toothbrush combs, everything else is available. It is close to the road to the station, but I didn't hear the sound of the car going back and forth at night, which was quiet. I didn't find mosquitoes or the like, so I didn't use mosquito coils for the whole night.
