Very frustrating, before I book the hotel the night before I call and request an early check in because I arrive in Rio at 8 am and I’ll be flying overnight and be very tired, unfortunately they tell me they will not be able to know until the day of but if it is available they will allow it, I say okay and proceed to book it. Well here I am at the hotel sitting in the lobby because the front desk guy says it’s available but it’s going to cost me an additional $73 dollars, which I already paid $150 so basically half additional, if I would of known that I would of just booked one of the hundred other hotels. Very frustrating because it’s available but you got to pay for it. Just a really bad experience, I was even going to extend my stay but it’s things like this that say never go here and tell anyone don’t do it. This may be something simple for me, but it’s overall customer experience, it can be so simple but it’s universal so it goes a long way small things like this add up and I’m sure it happens in other ways to ppl. Pathetic and a horrible experience, now I have to sit and wait in the lobby..
