I'm quite happy to write reviews but one thing I don't like is "Please give us a 5 star review". "Please leave us a review" is perfectly fine, I'll decide on the stars thank you. The reason I mention this first is that on the back of the door, as you leave the building and walk into the street, there's a sign on the back of the door basically stating that if you only give them 8 out of 10 they'll be very sad. What we didn't like - the review "demand". The really narrow and steep steps to get to the room (not easy or even necessarily safe with big holiday suitcases) and the TV having no programmed channels - a "remote" concierge service basically means you have to WhatsApp or call for help, no one is there to actually give immediate assistance. This TV issue was fixed the next day, but we turned the TV off when we left the room after it was fixed and when we got back all the channels were gone again - not really a big deal, but certainly annoying. Location - this goes both ways. It's close to everything (markets, bus station, Old Town), but going down that street in the dark really makes you wonder if you've made a good choice. It's just an atmosphere and the property is not responsible for that, but the feeling is certainly there. What was good - the bed was very comfortable, but a four poster being jammed into a section of the unit where there is only a few cm on each side makes it a bit awkward getting into and out of bed. The bathroom/laundry. This was excellent, there was a big washing machine and a clothes rack. By turning up the temperature in the bathroom using a control we found by accident (everything is on the QR code - oh, no it isn't) we were able to dry our clothes quite quickly. Space - once you get into the room there is plenty of space, you can lay your bags out easily without fear of tripping over them.
