Villaggio Baia d'Ercole

Wat een heerlijk verblijf! Resort is prachtig opgezet met veel groen. Kamers elke dag weer brandschoon. Bij aankomst voldoende handdoeken, badlakens en zelfs slippers. Handdoeken elke dag verschoond. Iedereen die hier werkt is super vriendelijk en werken echt hard. En dan het eten. Wat een genot! Niet het standaard all inclusive buffet maar echt verse ingrediënten met veel variatie door de week heen met liefde voor de plaatselijke keuken. De zwembaden en het strand zijn ook echt een genot. Wij hadden een auto gehuurd. Tropea en Pizzo zijn een aanrader. Op loopafstand zitten een paar leuke restaurantjes en een klein supermarktje. Als ik dan toch iets moet bedenken wat wat minder was, is dat op onze laatste dag van de vakantie een groot groep/klas jongeren (denk van een school uitje) in het resort kwamen met het nodige lawaai wat zo’n grote groep jongeren nou eenmaal maken. Schreeuwen naar elkaar en muziekboxjes. Niet echt passend voor het resort. Gelukkig zijn er genoeg plekken op te zoeken waardoor de overlast beperkt kan blijven. Al met al verdiend dit resort nog meer toeristen en kijken wij terug op een geweldig verblijf.

Tolle Aussicht Schönes Zimmer, tolle Anlage. Super Sicht auf die Bucht. Leckeres Frühstück. Etwas befremdlich finde ich, dass bei einem Privatstrand mit kostenlosen Schirmen und Liegen 5€ pro Strandtuch/Tag verlangt werden. Schade, dass das Hotel nicht mehr Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit legt. Die Säfte beim Frühstück wurden in Plastikbechern angeboten.

Overall, I can definitely recommend the hotel. The main plus points are the beautiful beach, the excellent food and the great staff. The restaurant looks directly out onto the sea and the view at breakfast alone is worth its weight in gold. At dinner there is a wide selection of delicious and healthy starters, both hot and cold. There is always a pasta dish and a dish with fish or meat at the evening buffet, as well as a dessert and fruit to choose from. At lunchtime you can order pizza or salad. The hotel has two very nice pools. The entire hotel complex is very pleasantly designed and the gardens are very well maintained. There is even a small fitness area with equipment, although it is actually quite small. The staff are very friendly and committed, some employees speak excellent German, the others are fine. There is free WiFi, but sometimes a bit unreliable and you often have to enter a password. The very attractive bungalow complex also has an amphitheater for evening entertainment. We were there in the off-season, so there was no program in the amphitheater or I didn't notice it. In the evenings we had live music from a solo entertainer who sang. At breakfast there were always very long queues in front of the coffee machines. As a tip for tea drinkers, I recommend asking the waiters to bring you hot water in a jug, then you don't have to queue for every cup. The bed covers are, as is unfortunately often the case in Italy, quite impractical, i.e. there is only a sheet and the actual blanket on top. Mine always got tangled up, I don't know if that's the case with the Italians... Some of the rooms have already been renovated, some have not. Ours hadn't been renovated yet. There was not much storage space in the bathroom, the shower was quite small and a bit clunky. That should be better in the other rooms though.

Il personale è stato impeccabile e molto attento alle nostre esigenze. Lasciava a desiderare l'animazione ... molto ripetitiva e concentrata sui piccoli

Abbiamo soggiornato dal 28 al 31 agosto 2024.Il villaggio è molto carino,immerso nel verde e pulito. Il cibo è sotto forma di buffet ed è ricco. Dalla colazione alla cena offre una vasta e abbondante scelta! La bilancia scoppierà al rientro delle vostre vacanze! Ogni sera c'è pure un pizzaiolo che sforna pizze in continuazione. La spiaggia non è grandissima ma l'acqua è cristallina. Una nota di merito spetta alla signora Maria Grazia della reception per averci risolto prontamente un problema con la stanza assegnataci.

Abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana (24-31 agosto) in questo villaggio situato direttamente su un mare limpido, davvero molto bello.. La struttura, datata, lascia molto a desiderare e le uniche stanze che consiglio sono le camere superior che si affacciano sulla piscina grande! La spiaggia non è molto curata dal bagnino, un argentino molto scortese che a più riprese ha definito gli italiani sporchi, incivili ed avari (ha aggiunto che per fortuna la settimana prossima sarebbero arrivati gli americani e sarebbe andata via l’animazione). Decisamente migliore il bagnino che abbiamo trovato solo un giorno (il martedì, vale a dire il giorno di riposo del primo), educato, gentile e un gran lavoratore che alle 7 già era in piena attività! La pulizia delle stanze è stata discreta (alcuni giorni buona altri davvero pessima). Il ristorante, aperto sul mare ma privo di aria condizionata (spesso a pranzo si boccheggiava), è stato sempre pulito mentre il cibo, in abbondanza, in alcuni giorni ha lasciato un po’ a desiderare. Il servizio è stato sempre attento e veloce. Un elogio particolare va ad una cameriera con gli occhiali, di origine pugliese, che nonostante l’enorme mole di lavoro svolta, è stata sempre sorridente, veloce e gentile. Animazione molto simpatica (in particolare Letizia una vera esplosione di gioia che con la sua simpatia ha intrattenuto egregiamente i bambini)
