Secluded location not really on the sea.
The area is very nice and secluded, but any access to the sea is a long way off as grazing fields separate the hotel from the sea. The people there are very nice and the "en suite" room is huge, but the toilet area has an overpowering smell and the age of the property is apparent. You will need to navigate stairs so also keep this in mind. The restaurant is quite good and priced correctly. Breakfast is quite simple, but all the main needs are covered.

We sliepen in de suite (kamer 1) die heeft eigen badkamer, leefruimte, keuken, slaapkamer. Andere kamers maken gebruik van de 2 badkamers op de gang. De suite was ruim. Niet schoon. Overal haren (bank) en ook de keuken niet - goed - gereinigd. Alles plakte. Aangezien er honden zijn toegestaan vrees ik dat het hondenharen waren. Op het grote balkon konden we niet zitten. Er zitten zwaluwennesten boven en alles zit onder de vogelpoep. Ook het tuinmeubilair. Ontbijt is sober. Het complex heeft ook een camping voor campers, die staan onder en naast het balkon. Geen overlast van. Wil of kan je op het balkon zitten dan weinig privacy. Weinig handdoeken. Zelf uit de voorraadkast gehaald die toevallig open stond. Restaurant biedt goede gerechten. Wel duur! Let op: ze bieden 2 en 3 gangen menu aan voor bepaalde gerechten. Neem dat, scheelt echt. Maar wees alert bij afrekenen. Bij ons stonden de gerechten alsnog separaat op de factuur dus veel duurder. Terwijl we duidelijl hadden aangegeven menu 2 gangen. Trapten we niet in. Discussie over, maar wel herberekend. Weinig vriendelijk personeel. Stug. Kortaf. Enkele positieve personen uitzonderingen. Ligt in natuur hij sluis en water. Dus muggen. Bij gebrek aan horren slaapkamerrraam dicht en dan benauwd. Voor ons eenmalig. Geen topper. Vooral slechte hygiëne stond ons tegen.

Dejligt sted og perfekt som udgangspunkt for en tur ved vadehavet. Prøv endelig restauranten med god og rigelig mad. Vejret var ikke super men det kan de vel ikke gøre for.

Onze eerste kennismaking met de Deense keuken was meteen een schot in de roos, we hebben hier de eerste avond in Denemarken heerlijk gegeten op een heerlijke locatie. Zeer vriendelijke bediening en lekkere gerechten. Zo lekker dat we bij onze volgende reis naar Denemarken hier terug willen overnachten. Zalige plek om te genieten van de prachtige omgeving en de dag af te sluiten met een heerlijke maaltijd. We hier met zijn camper kan gaan staan op de parking, valt letterlijk en figuurlijk met zijn gat in de boter.

Trotz ambitionierter Preise (ok, man ist ja in Dänemark und weiß, das ist teuer), hatten wir uns kurzfristig entschlossen als Nutzer des sehr schönen angeschlossenen Wohnmobilplatzes einen Tisch zu reservieren. Das ging problemlos und freundlich. Enorm freundlich und unkompliziert haben wir dann auch die Gastfreundschaft empfunden. Die hier gebotene gehobene Küche war hervorragend, so dass wir keine Krone bereut haben, die wir hier ausgegeben haben.
