Delfinia Resort - All Inclusive

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share our experience. We arrived at the hotel at 12:30 a.m. after a long day of travel that began at 10 a.m, and all we wanted was to rest. Unfortunately, our first impression was far from ideal. The room we were given (Room 436) was unbearably hot—feeling close to 50°C—and extremely cramped. When my partner raised the issue with reception, we were told to return in the morning. Thankfully, we were moved to a larger, more comfortable room the next day. However, during our stay in the new room, the shower door completely detached while my child was using it, which was quite alarming. The hotel has a strict policy of not issuing extra key cards, which makes it difficult to keep the room cool during the day. I used my Blue Light Card and opted out of daily housekeeping after hearing that cleaning staff may remove cards from rooms, potentially to limit air conditioning usage. Food and drink were a major letdown. Breakfast offered limited options—about ten choices—three of which were variations of eggs, along with mushrooms, chips, and beans. Lunch and dinner were not much better, with one of the main dishes being beef liver and even the homeless stray cats turned their noses up. The queue for pancakes in the morning was excessive, often taking up to 30 minutes before you even got your food. There is no dedicated snack bar open between lunch and dinner, which is unusual for an all-inclusive resort. Instead, a heated cabinet with chicken burgers was available—but biting into one could be risky if you value your dental work. The alcohol was underwhelming, and despite guests drinking all day, it’s questionable whether the beverages contained much alcohol at all. Evening entertainment left much to be desired. While the entertainment team clearly puts in a lot of effort, it’s obvious they are working with a limited budget. We even heard that staff had to pay out-of-pocket for kids’ club supplies. In one instance, a child slipped and injured themselves around the pool. The hotel reportedly gave the family €100 compensation—only to later deduct it from the entertainer’s wages, blaming her for not supervising properly while also trying to entertain the entire resort. When my own child cut his finger on a metal chair outside, I was told by management that there were no plasters available. When I suggested purchasing some from a nearby shop, the manager sighed in frustration. On a positive note: The kids really enjoyed the pool and water slides, and there seemed to be a relaxed attitude from lifeguards, which allowed the children to play as they pleased.

Stayed here in may 2025 it’s taken me a long time to write this however we booked to stay here for 2 weeks I must say I have never had a holiday this bad. It’s not suitable for disabled people, the images they share online are those of the villas not hotel. The steps in the pool do not teach the bottom I used the pool once I didn’t realise until I tried to get out the issues with the pool steps. The pool and bars was often last opening when speaking to the manager was told it wasn’t his problem. When we arrived we was put in a 1st floor room with a bath even though we previously contacted and said about the need for a shower. 2 days later we was moved. The room they placed us in was in a very poor condition including shower spraying all round the bathroom making it all very slippery. We was then moved again this room was better the air conditioning did leak on first night but it was fixed the following morning. The food was so much below what I would call a 4* they had different types of pork every lunch and dinner time with very lil choice of other things myself I can’t eat pork due to medical conditions. The other food they had was barely warm and not very appealing. They have no rails around the public area to help disabled people move around. The toilets in the hotel and pool have no locks and I was walked in on by someone. I have never been so happy to leave a hotel from a holiday

The hotel is good, the rooms are clean and the staff is very nice. I felt like I was in a fairy tale.The Nesti menager in the restorant is the best this také so good the work for me in for my famely is th best menager thanx for everything

We spent a week at this hotel hoping for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation, and while some aspects of our stay were pleasant, others left us disappointed and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t meet our expectations, and we don’t think we’ll be returning. restaurant- The food at the hotel was decent – not exceptional, but generally okay. However, the atmosphere in the restaurant was often unpleasant due to the behavior of the restaurant manager. He persistently approached guests, especially women, asking them to leave positive reviews about the food. His tone was pushy and borderline inappropriate, making many guests feel uncomfortable. What should have been a relaxing dining experience felt more like being harassed into giving good feedback. pool-The pool was fairly nice and maintained decently. It was a good spot to unwind during the hotter hours of the day. However, the operating hours could definitely be improved. It would be great if the pool stayed open longer in the evening, especially for those who come back late from excursions or simply want to enjoy a quieter swim after the peak hours. Animation - one of the true highlights of the stay was the entertainment team. The animation was excellent – we stayed for a full week and never saw the same evening show twice. Everything was well-organized and genuinely fun. A special thank you goes to Sara who was absolutely fantastic during the aquagym sessions. Her energy, humor, and funny outbursts brought life to every class and had everyone laughing. She truly made a difference in our experience. However, not all the team members were equally active. There was one male staff member whose name we never caught – he was often seen walking around but didn’t really engage with guests or contribute much, especially in the evenings. His only real role seemed to be announcing the start of the evening program and then disappearing. -The shop was actually quite good – the prices were reasonable, and they offered a wide variety of items suitable for all kinds of needs, from souvenirs to essentials. The girls working there were friendly and helpful, making the shopping experience quite pleasant. Unfortunately, our interactions with one of the staff members in the morning shift were less than ideal. She consistently gave us unfriendly looks, and on one occasion, when a plush toy accidentally fell on the ground, she yelled at us in Greek. What made this worse is that my brother understands Greek and heard her insulting us directly, which was extremely disappointing and rude. It’s a shame because the other girls were genuinely sweet and professional. We’re grateful for the good moments and for people like Sara who made us laugh and feel involved, but sadly, it’s not the type of hotel we would return to or recommend without some serious changes.
