Delfinia Resort - All Inclusive

My honest review of the Delphia result Having read some reviews, I admit I was worried however I had the most amazing holiday When we arrived, we were given an upgrade to a room with a private pool ,the hotel itself was very clean and tidy all the staff works exceptionally hard and were very friendly and helpful The main pool whilst it only has two slides it is more than ample and we had great fun certainly helped by the lifeguards extremely laid-back approach The food was what you would expect for all inclusive it wasn't Michelin star however it was decent. It was always something to eat and something different every night.my kids are super fussy and my wife's a vegetarian and we all ate well every meal time Radi at the poolside bar always happy and ready for a chat. Beers alright and the cocktails are strong Kosmas at the outside entertainment bar great of kids always having a laugh with them Sara Alicia and Matteo were the entertainment team whilst the entertainment itself wasn't amazing. This was in no way reflection on them. It was just a quiet location and they did their very best Would definitely return

Was abit worried before we arrived due to the mixed reviews. But honestly I didn't need to worry. There was abit of a mix up with our room which they stated on our arrival but was sorted the following day and did not spoil our time away. For reviews saying the place was dirty, I honestly did not see what you did. The only mess was down to people staying there. Staff were constantly cleaning & friendly. Our room was spacious and cleaned daily, again staff do an amazing job. Food was nice, yes sometimes felt on repeat, but that's what you get with all inclusive, as they have to cater for a mass amount of people. But the food was nice & edible, always something for everyone. If we wanted a change we went out to eat. We didn't go to alot of evening entertainment, not because it was rubbish but it just wasn't our thing, our kids are older and prefer to go out in the evenings. But the animation team work so so hard, especially Sara who is so lovely to chat to & has a great sense of humour (aqua gym is great fun). Location is good about a 10min walk to eucalyptus street or beach. My advice go with an open mind, a holiday is what you make it! And also you get what you pay for. But for us we had a brilliant stay at Delfinia. Only negative was the manager was a grump, walked around the hotel & spoke to staff like crap (not very professional in front of guests).

Do NOT stay here if you have any small requests and they are not accommodating at all and only they say to you, is they haven't got time for your request or that they're not available until the next morning. I am a single parent on holiday with two small children. Our room overlooks the entertainment that doesn't start until 8:30pm. I made a request to move rooms the first night and I was told the entertainment would be turned off soon. It ended up being turned off at 10:45. The next night, was 10:30. I am not one to complain about anything. I'm fully supportive of the entertainment but with two small children, I cannot keep them awake every night until 10:30/11pm. I simply requested a different room and I was told by various staff in reception and after speaking to the general manager that he doesn't have time to deal with my request. It's a shame that the staff let this hotel down. Wouldn't recommend staying here again with this manager. Rude and unhelpful

After reading the reviews I was absolutely dreading it but I was pleasantly surprised. Every staff member was friendly and smiley. Special mention to Radi, Kris the lifeguard also Alessia, Matia and Sara! Our children loved this hotel that much they didn’t want to leave the hotel. Everything was 10/10. Would highly recommend xx

Mixed review here. Booked a stay for a week as a last minute holiday. Online, the pictures show standard rooms and rooms with private pools. As we have little ones we thought this would be more suitable as sometimes it can become abit too much at a communal pool. We rang the hotel and they told me that it was €350 to upgrade the room. This wasn’t a problem and was happy to pay! However, when we arrived, a family stood screaming in reception for an hour and half (bearing in mind there was a queue of people exhausted from travelling all day). Apparently they’d booked their room but the receptionist had no recall. Instead of seeing to everyone else we were just left. I eventually paid my extra money to upgrade only to then find out that the other families in the rooms hadn’t had to pay anything to upgrade. The room was shabby to say this was meant to be one of the better ones. I spoke to reception where I came across an extremely RUDE member of staff. She clearly couldn’t be bothered to answer my question so I refused to go any further and required to speak to the manager. He explained that it wasn’t their problem and I wanted to upgrade. Ok but why was I the only one who had to pay extra? Make it make sense. Food was standard. Flies all over it and it was like the next sale. Pushing and shoving - terrible! The room was attended to daily however, only sheets were changed and the floor was absolutely covered in ants! At one point I also saw the cleaner using the pool water to mop - lovely! Drinks were not nice at all. Everything tasted the same like fizzy water. Entertainment team were lovely - including lifeguard and bar staff. Very friendly however, you could even see how overworked they were. WiFi doesn’t work and had absolutely no signal all week. Don’t bother paying for a roaming pass as you won’t be able to use it! Also, I asked to book a late check out at an extra cost. All was fine until the actually morning when they told us “we’re over accommodated”. We had to use the communal showers and they were vile! No privacy and absolutely freezing. Would I stay again? Probably not. This is a 4* hotel but it really is like staying at the solana from the Benidorm series. 3* at a push!!!!
