Kolymbia Bay Art Boutique Hotel - Adults Only

TLDR: Too expensive for the price. Room was old and dated with a very old AC unit Pros: - Friendly staff - Excellent buffet breakfast - Food at restaurant was tasty Cons: - Room was old and dated - Very hot room as A/C was rubbish. Had to ask for an additional fan - Spa hours were shorter than advertised - it closed at 1.30pm, not 22:00 - Construction noise from next door building site - Photos on website didn’t look like reality - dirty room (stained sheets, old towels, dirt laced around plug hole) - no WiFi in rooms - only available in reception - Limited sunbeds around the pool

Stayed here for 3 nights & everything was great. The friendly staff & the vibe of the hotel was amazing The pool was lovely Lisa was very informative & told us about a nice little sandy beach which was about 10 - 15 mins walk called Harbour beach & there was a great beach bar there too. We also liked the food in the hotel restaurant

At the start of my stay, there was a small issue with my room, but it was sorted out straight away thanks to the amazing staff. They handled it quickly, professionally, and with such a friendly attitude that it actually set a really positive tone for the rest of my stay. The hotel itself was incredibly well-organised, clean, and comfortable. Everything ran smoothly, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome. The staff were truly exceptional – warm, helpful, and always smiling. They have an amazing taxi service with friendly taxi drivers who are always able to pick you up no matter where you are in Rhodes. I would like to say a big thankyou to Lisa and Emmanuel who made our stay one to remember. Overall i had a fantastic experience and would absolutely stay here again!

Hotel was in a good location. The room was clean and comfortable and having a swim up room was absolutely great. The best thing was the staff, they were all so friendly, happy to help with anything we needed and were great during breakfast and for getting cocktails. The breakfast itself was excellent, food was always fresh and very tasty. We ate dinner one night as well and it too was delicious. Only things I would change: The swim up rooms and balconies are right next to a public footpath so we didn't have any privacy. The air conditioning in the room wasn't great.

We had such a lovely stay at Kolymbia Bay Hotel and would highly recommend it. When we arrived late, we were warmly welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine, and the receptionist kindly offered to order us a takeaway – a thoughtful start to a great holiday. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, and it was honestly the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. There was lots of variety, everything was fresh and topped up regularly, and daily savoury and sweet specials kept it exciting. Me and my partner often said how we couldn’t wait for the breakfast (we aren’t normally even breakfast people) We also loved the pool bar food – generous portions, fair prices, and the chicken gyros were our favourite. The lady with dark hair I think Maria, who mostly served us, was so lovely and helpful. The pool area was peaceful with plenty of sunbeds available, even at 1pm. There was also a DJ from 1-4 which was a good addition, we enjoyed the music. In the evenings, we often walked 10–15 minutes to Eucalyptus Street for shops, bars, and restaurants. One night we dined at The Bay Restaurant – delicious food, reasonably priced, and the staff kindly gave us complimentary bread and olives. The hotel was spotless, relaxing, and in a perfect location for exploring Rhodes. It’s the only holiday destination we’ve both be agreed we’d 100% return to.
