Lindos Royal Resort

The hotel itself has good facilities and the beach is on the doorstep. Food is plentiful and good. We arrived around 11.30pm and the hotel had hot food waiting for us which was a great welcome. We had a family room for 4 which was nice, it had a dividing door and windows, but curtains would have been nice for extra privacy to change etc. Hotel staff were very helpful. The onsite shop which was well stocked was open until 11pm. There were lots of cats and kittens around the site, which we and many others loved, so avoid if you have a cat phobia. The only disappointing thing was they didnt have an iron to use, but did have laundry service. Also, the running machines in the gym were both out of order. We went at the end of season, so wasnt too busy and had a really relaxing holiday.

We stayed at this beautiful place for 7 nights, and honestly I can’t fault it. We upgraded to a sea view room which had a large balcony with a gorgeous view. Perfect during the day and for star gazing! I thought the food was lovely. We were all inclusive. Best all inclusive food I have had. Drinks were also lovely and generous. The entertainment was exceptional! I wish I knew the names of the groups to be sure to review them correctly. I think on Monday past, the group were ‘The Jersey Tones’. Wow. The talent from the Rock Night and the night that the three lovely ladies covering the likes of the Supremes was exceptional. Gorgeous views and beach all close by. Little paradise. Comfortable pillows and beds. Facilities were all perfect. Pools were lovely. I know some found them cold but I feel that’s generally expected in a pool until your temperature adapts. Great supermarkets around the resort and options for Quad/Car Rental. We rented a quad and visited Lindos town as well as other parts of Rhodes. The roads are good and the drive was lovely, as was the gentleman who helped us with that. Highly recommend. Every single staff member we met were kind and pleasant. The restaurant and bar staff are very attentive. The cleaning staff were so lovely and always did a great job. We reported a very young injured cat to the reception team and I admire the effort to help and compassion so much. Not long after the injured cat was treated by a vet. Yes, there are many cats around and I understand not everyone is an animal lover. However, the resort in my opinion do have boundaries in place in terms of cat inside the indoor restaurants. I seen staff doing so. It is wonderful Greece. I have been to a couple of Greek islands, and their love and care for stray cats and dogs is one of the most wonderful things about this country. So personally, having the cats around l, as they are all over Greece, is a pleasure. A special thank you to the staff for caring for them and for being so kind to us, as seeing an animal in pain was distressing. Thank you so much for a wonderful time and for the attention to detail in our room to help us celebrate.

I had a great stay at the hotel! The location is so perfect , close to beaches, quite close to lindos and the views are stunning. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the dining options were excellent. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing vacation! Especially want to than mr Michalis Kaniotis for his help and being always when it was necessary ! The best person I met there !

I was a little concerned before going because of negative reviews and we always stay at 4 or 5 star hotels so didn’t want to be disappointed. The hotel looks fabulous on arrival and the reception staff are wonderful, beautiful smiley faces from all the girls makes you feel very welcome. Fast and efficient check in and practical and modern hotel room with an amazing shower, good housekeeping and very clean . Range of pools and attractive layout with plenty of sunbeds and everything easily accessible. Great bar staff and quality of drinks was very good( although not keen on plastic cups, but safety round pool it’s important).lovely afternoon snacks made fresh at the bar. Beach very close and bay looks lovely but pebble so not really for me so got bus at top of hill ( 15 min uphill walk but you get used to it) outside hotel 2 euros to different beaches and saw quiet a bit of Lindos this way. Good entertainment at night but most nights we got a taxi to Lindos town which was very close at a set price of 24 euros return, Lindos town fabulous just beautiful, full of restaurants bars and wonderful atmosphere. The restaurant at the hotel is its weakness I’m being honest I feel it needs up dating and is what makes the hotel more 4*, it gives a very canteen feel and lacks that element of quality dining to look at and furniture etc is quite dated . The food is good quality but doesn’t stay hot enough in the hot plate trays so it lets down what could be great food. The grill station is excellent and there was a young man on this every morning and he was brilliant, loved my cooked breakfast and the pizza guy also excellent. Evening meal also lighting remained the same so it still had a brightly lit canteen feel and red wine was not great . We ate most of are evening meals in Lindos town and it was fantastic just wonderful food in a beautiful atmosphere. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel but if you are undecided my advice would be budget into your spends taxi’s and buses into Lindos as this will really give you a wonderful experience of Lindos. My advice to hotel is revamp restaurant and give a better dining experience that other hotels of this rate are offering 👍 oh and why don’t you make the main bar into all inclusive then after 11 make it payable then I feel most people would carry on drinking there as it’s a lovely venue with real glasses, but was always empty. Lindos is definitely worth a visit one of my top ten now Thankyou x

I loved our holiday. I realized how important the good staff when you go for a holiday. I think the hotel location is absolutly fantastic. The beach is 5 minutes from the hotel and Lindos is only 10-15 minutes by bus or by taxi. We tried to explore the place so we didn’t spend too much time in our room. In my opinion they should make some renovation but we didn’t have too much problem with it. One of our favorite place was the main restaurant for us. The food were so delicious and system was so good. There was a variety of choices. First of all, it was such a good feeling that when we needed some help with food allergy (because of my doughter), and with any kind of question, Mr. Paris was so helpful all the time and such a kind person. Everybody of the staff was so hardworking. We prefered to eat at the small terrace or inside at the smaller part of the restaurant. Everyday we got the best service from Laura, Armanda and Nora. We are really grateful for these people.

I’m really sorry to have to say this but the hotel is NOT a 5 star. The food was limited to choices, and always freezing cold even tho we went at the time the restaurant was only open. The pool water was freezing. Having chosen all inclusive option which meant we had a choice of the a la carte restaurants was extremely disappointing. We brought a Coca Cola with us to the Asian restaurant and the rudeness of the waitress removing it because drink had to be bought was embarrassing and uncalled for. We ended up leaving before any food was brought. No one came to check why !! Way too many cats roaming around while eating. The food on our last day was definitely not 5 star: we were told that they were finishing up for the season so it was quite obvious that staff couldn’t care less. The hotel is very remote with not much nearby. I would never return to this hotel .

This hotel needs exposing to save other people being conned like ourselves. I have stayed in better 3 star hotels. And if this is a 5 star a premier inn must be a 10 star. The food (main restaurant): If you want food poising then this is the place to go. Same food every day, you wouldn’t know if it has been cooked on the night or re heated from 2 days ago until you feel horrendous a few hours later. If you have kids also avoid as they don’t have simple things like chicken nuggets. On the bright side there is freshly baked pizza that is made in front of you, but I guess that’s if you want to live off margarita pizza every day. When my partner and I got sick on night 3 that’s when we drew the line and accepted we had to eat out every evening meal to save getting sick… something you should never have to do at a “5* all inclusive”. Kids club: None existent Evening Entertainment: Standard… but more 3 star entertainment and reminds me of the television series Benidorm with a slightly better layout. Afternoon snacks: Pizza / chips AGAIN!! They also serve a “gyro” with chips and a hotdog because marinated chicken must be out of their budget. Staff: Look like they don’t want to be there, you’ll be lucky to get greeted. Rooms / accommodation: Lost for words in the worst way possible. Balcony view was shocking (look at photos). Bottle of water on arrival and that’s it. No tea or coffee, no iron provided, no room service. We have a 20 month old baby and they put us in a room with mould. They’re hanging out for renovation but probably won’t happen with a greedy owner… Don’t worry I’ve attached the evidence; the pictures tell the story. We know a couple who complained and got upgraded to find it wasn’t much better and was still falling to bits. Drinks: Served in plastic cups at all bars… nothing classy about it. Again not 5* standards and photos attached… if you like Pepsi hopefully you like it flat (main restaurant). Complain and they will bring you another flat one. SUMMARY: Biggest waste of money. It brought me and my family nothing but stress and misery and I had to spend a significant amount of money to escape the horrors of this place (mainly food). If you book this you are only setting yourself up for disappointment so be warned.

My vacation was quite nice here! The wheather was still so nice on the days but in the mornings some days were chilly. I reccommend to bring some warm clothes with you. Rooms: I mean it is Greece. In some place the rooms are good or not. Of course the hotel need some renevations, but because most of the time in my holiday I only slept in my room, I didn't had to much problem with it. Restaurant & Staff: I have been told that the theme resraurants are nice, I didn't tried them. But the main restaurant was amaizing. The food were nice, you could chose about a lots of options. Some of the food you could ate them everyday but they had lots of days with different kind of foods (for example asian day). The sushi was excellent!! The food was always nice and warm, the drinks were also good. Staff: They are all hard working. All the kitchen staff and the waiters/waitresses as well. They are so nice and kind (and some of them very funny), and they are very helpful. Most of the time I ate outside, I liked where Armanta, Michalis, Karina and Enefteria worked. (Sorry if I wrote your names wrong). But also, Janis and Nora was also great, they had such a good teamwork. They supervisor Mr. Paris was such a kind guy he helped me when I had some problem. The hotel should be thankful for all the workers who works there. Bars: The drinks were good but after 9 you had to pay for them. On an All inclusieve? It was so weird for me and that I cannot get a free bottle of water. But after all everything was great! Lora
