The location of the hotel is ideal. Next to the coast of Elli, where there are many beach bar options, but also about 10' from the center of the old town. The hotel staff is excellent, especially the reception guys.

The hotel is unexpectedly good, with a free mini bar and a very good buffet. There is a live show in the swimming pool on weekends, which is very relaxing! I hope to stay here again if I have the chance

The room is neat and clean, the bed banner and quilt cover exude a relaxing perfume smell, and the large floor-to-ceiling windows have a sea-view balcony. There are also three buffets a day, with fruits, desserts, and staple foods in many styles, and they are delicious. The residents are basically white people on vacation. A super experience!

Enjoyable stay in this hotel. We were upgraded to All Inclusive which we can have unlimited drinks and food. But the lunch and dinner buffet is a bit repetitive. Staff in the restaurant were nice but they seldom refill our drinks. Also, the swimming pool is so small, which barely can swim.

When booking this hotel, we were impressed by the many 5* reviews which helped us to make the decision to holiday here. However, l have to be completely honest, l have no idea who is writing these 5* reviews as this does not match the stay we had at this hotel. Either the people writing 5* reviews have never experienced other hotels or maybe we just stayed when the hotel was having a bad week? The hotel decor is very outdated, all dark wood making the areas dull and dark. It is decorated like a 1970s Spanish hotel. The pool is tiny and there are only approximately 40 sunbeds around the pool so guests are not accommodated. People start queueing at around 9:15am for the doors opening at 9:30 but even if you join the queue, you are lucky to get a bed. They offer an area at the beach which is a 1 minute walk away however, there are no toilets or a bar at the beach so you have to keep coming back to the hotel. Also, this defeats the object of all inclusive as you cannot access the facilities whilst on the beach so end up spending money. The pool bar is good and offers a range of snacks like crepes etc which is included on the all inclusive. The lady who works on the bar is one of the most miserable staff workers l have ever experienced on holiday. She is more interested in chatting, on her phone or eating instead of serving you, when she does serve you it is anything but service with a smile. The lady who makes the snacks only makes an effort with returning guests that she already knows. We tried on several occasions to talk but they are both not interested, l appreciate we are not fluent in Greek but we know the basic language and even that didn’t work. The lifeguard is very friendly and would occasionally work on the bar which was service with a smile. Whilst we were there we were highly insulted to see that a camera crew were in to take new photos to advertise the hotel. During this photo shoot, they asked some girls from the pool to sit at the bar area while the lady from the bar served them drinks to their table…this was the only time this happened. Alongside this, they had the lady from the snack area serving new snacks that had not been seen before with table service…again this only happened for the camera making their website photos highly inaccurate. The food is like a school canteen and the choices are quite poor. There are plenty bread and greek salad options but the rest is inconsistent. I’m not sure who enjoys steamed carrots and sprouts for their breakfast. The service in the restaurant is inconsistent as some days you are offered water etc and other days this does not happen. When entering the restaurant there are bottles of wine and a wine list but this is never offered whilst you’re in there. They do serve wine by the glass however sometimes your drinks would arrive once you have eaten. We ended up spending a lot more than planned as we ate out most nights, they do advertise theme nights however these are also disappointing.

I stayed at the Mitsis Grand Beach before and what I really appreciated this time here at Petit Palace is staff. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and happy. It was so nice to find there again Ioannis on the beach, who is so welcoming and always trying to accomodate you in the best possible way. He is very efficient, friendly and helpful, ideal beach supervisor. Zara in the restaurant is a second gem of this hotel, so warm and kind, you can feel the light inside her. The rooms are outdated, but fine, I had one in the end of the building overlooking the sea, no complaints. The food is very fresh, properly coocked, the choice is good. I enjoed the dinners most. Although, I have questions about drinks this year. Seems that Mitsis changed great cava for some unpleasant spumante this year, and this tastes no good. I so much waited for Saturday to have a breakfast with champaigne, but it didnt work out(( Also, the lunchbag given to me on the day of departure seemed to be missing the "main course". As you make a preorder the day before with a menu you know exactly what should be inside. Overall my stay was good
