Virginia Family Resort

We arrived here late at night and met by very welcoming team members, who provided us with the best welcome and advice. We asked to change our room once we got there away from the children's park which was no issue at all for the staff, even showing us the other room option before moving! Nothing ever felt like a problem with all the staff during our stay everyone was so helpful. Our first full day we met the sun bed war, we asked if there was enough loungers for the whole resort which there apparently is but we saw in the week to come there was many newbies like us on first day who struggled to get a lounger. We had to get up and be at the pool around 8 to ensure we had good loungers everyday which was a shame as they could easily move peoples towel and stop people from wandering off. After that we did have a lovely days by the pool which was a great size and your allowed inflatables. We did feel like the smaller pools water was never fully clean despite the cleaning team at it every morning. If you book with EasyJet it also describes the smaller two pool as an adult pool - they aren't so be careful. We saw many reviews about the food but we enjoyed our meals and food selections every night. Our favourite was the Greek restaurant upstairs, definitely worth a visit. The drinks menu was okay, we enjoyed the drink on AI but it definitely could be extended. The team on the bar was always friendly and smiling ready to help. There are some great smaller restaurants around the corner which we tried, especially the sports bar there food was amazing. Our rooms was a standard room which was small but functionable. The view to the sea was so nice. Our aircon was great and so cold which was perfect. The bathroom is slightly too small, only a walk in shower with a small pane of glass, meaning the floor got wet very quickly in there. The entertainment wasn't really our thing so there are many areas you can play games near the bars in the evening. The one time we did join the entertainment was bingo which wasn't great at all for a family resort no interaction or music for numbers or winner, just standard old bingo. I'd love to come back here in the future to see how much it's grown as it has the potential to be amazing with it's facilities.
