Beautiful little boutique hotel with lovely drinks & food menu. The staff were lovely with a welcoming smile and could not have been more helpful. Hidden away just off the main streets , well worth finding for a quiet drink and to just relax in the shade for an hour or so!

We had planned to dine at Avalon in Rhodes Old Town after noticing it the day before while walking through the quieter streets of the city. The place looked charming and inviting, and we were looking forward to a lovely dinner in a peaceful setting. We even dressed up for the occasion. However, when we arrived in the evening, we found only two guests seated at the restaurant. Despite this, we were turned away and told that they do not serve dinner to people who are not staying at the hotel. This was surprising and quite disappointing, especially since they have a menu board displayed at the entrance, which clearly suggests that they welcome outside guests. It felt misleading and unnecessarily exclusive. We left feeling quite let down, as we had really looked forward to the evening. Luckily, we found another excellent restaurant nearby, which we ended up visiting several times during our stay. That experience more than made up for it.

We stayed at the Restaurant during our day trip to Rhodes for some some snacks and drinks. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely chat about Soumatha which we didn't know so far and we loved it. The restaurant lies within the ancient part of the city and can be found in a nice yard next to the knights road. Everything was clean and beautifully arranged with some nice jazz playing in the background.

Nice boutique hotel. Lovely stay. Room looked better in photos than in person. Nevertheless, room was cleaned and comfy. Lots of noticeable wear and tear, particularly in the bathroom. Had no hot water the first night, but that was fixed immediately and no issues afterwards. Breakfast was a bit of a let down upon first glance. However, it was delicious and filling. Customer service was phenomenal. No complaints with service. The home cooked meal was delicious and enjoyable. Location was perfect for seeing old town and close enough to catch public transport. Overall, would stay here again if visiting Rhodes.

Iannis, le propriétaire, est très accueillant de serviable. Malheureusement, nous sommes restés 10 nuits et il est parti le 3ème jour.... Il n'est resté que la femme de ménage et une autre personne. IL s'agit d'un petit hôtel de 7 ou 8 chambres où nous étions pendant plusieurs jours les seuls clients. D'entrée de jeu, Iannis nous a dit qu'il nous avait surclassé et nous a demandé de payer en liquide. Après discussion j'ai réussi à ne payer "que" 500 euros en liquide sur une facture de 1530 euros (quand même) . .. Notre chambre était vaste, mais très peu de lumière, une seule prise électrique (il a fallu trouver une rallonge pour utiliser le sèche cheveux) ; les 7 premiers jours peu ou pas d'eau chaude (!!!) ; nombreux articles de la salle de bain cassés ou rouillés ; peinture des murs écaillée ; pas de lumière dans l'escalier ; ... Petit déjeuner servi à table mais impossible d'avoir un capuccino et il a fallu réclamer des jus d'orange. Seuls points positifs : l'espace, le calme et l'emplacement ! C'est bien dommage car l'endroit pourrait aisément être "magique". Quelques jours de travail et un entretien régulier suffiraient.

Einrichtung schon sehr abgenutzt zu Teil. Es wäre auch erwähnenswert, dass die Standart Doppelzimmer in einem anderen Gebäude sind. Personal war sehr freundlich. Frühstück war auch gut ich hätte mir nur gewünscht, dass gefragt wird was wir auf den Tisch gestellt haben möchten. Leider war in unserem Zimmer ein dreckiges Glas neben dem Waschbecken ansonsten war es aber Sauber.

Friendly small hotel with amazing breakfasts
Lovely, old property in the heart of Rhodes making it so easy to see the city. Our room was on the small side but had the benefit of a small lounge/kitchen area downstairs shared with just 2 other rooms.
The room could do with some updates as the wardrobe was broken and the bed wasn't particularly comfortable. However, those shortcomings were more than made up for by the friendly and welcoming staff.
The breakfasts were always amazing with a range of bread, savouries, yogurt, cakes, fruit which changed daily and unusually were served at your table in the beautiful courtyard by friendly and welcoming staff.

Beautiful room. Lovely courtyard. Service was excellwnt including providing a breakfast tray in our room for early departure and golf cart pick up to and from the harbor area.
