Port Royal Villas and Spa - Adults Only

Nice and clean hotel. Beach is not the best, but definitely a plus to have one. Breakfast is great Asked a room service not to clean my room, but they did. As a result I couldn’t find my night guard.. they probably thought it was trash or something. That really disappointed me. But all in all we had a pleasant stay

3rd visit to this lovely hotel. Last time was 6 years ago and so much has changed. The large pool has been totally modernised with steps leading into it, a trendy shaded seating area and new bar area. There is an app which gives information on the bars and restaurants, and bar codes on each sunbed table to order drinks and food. The smaller pools and reception are the same as before and in need of tlc. Tiles are missing in the smaller pools floor and the sofas in reception are missing studs and are really uncomfortable. The food has and is always fantastic. So much choice, so tasty and each night was a different theme. A chef was in the main area most nights, and very attentive to anyone who had dietary needs. Chefs prepared and cooked food live on 2 stations and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. On some nights you had live piano being played, it's beautiful. There are also additional restaurants by the large pool which you can book and eat at. The bungalows we stayed in had been modernised and are a generous size. We had a welcome pack containing suntan lotions which was lovely. The staff overall are lovely. Joanna, Haroula, Angel and the concierge are so hard working. Staff so welcoming and respectful to my parents, who are in their 80s. We went with my parents and we didn't use the apps, preferring to go to the bar and order drinks. We missed having a menu, so had to keep looking at the app to see what was available, as some drinks and foods are additional charges. We were all inclusive and had to ask for the mini bar to be refilled, a total of 4 times in 2 weeks it wasn't filled to the same as when we arrived. We told reception and the concierge and it was filled straight away, but then the 2nd week not fully filled on other times. Bed and breakfast has been introduced so on an evening it felt a bit flat in the reception bar, as only 1 night has jazz music. Hardly anyone around on an evening as out in the main highstreet. which is right outside the hotel. Guests reserved sunbeds and took towels so on numerous occasions when we wanted to sunbath there were no towels so we had to sit on the bed and wait , but dozens of beds with them on and noone on them. 2 men 'wandered' around making a note of the beds that had towels or peoples belongings unattended but it was half hearted, as some beds no one occupied for hours but they did nothing. Signs did show rules about not reserving beds, and belongings being removed, but the large pool had beds reserved early every day so we stayed mainly round the smaller pool where beds were available. Overall we enjoyed our stay and it was lovely to visit again and we would recommend it.

We stayed at this hotel for my wife's 40th and was with another couple. The hotel was very clean, room were lovely and the place felt calm and relaxed. The facilities are excellent and the food really nice. The all inclusive option worked really well for us and the cocktails by the pool were great, would recommend a visit!
