The location of the hotel is still relatively remote. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the nearest train station, and it is very inconvenient to take a taxi. Although there are buses, there are fewer flights. Really suitable for deep travel, not suitable for parent-child travel, the child is too tired

The following is a purely subjective review: - It is a hotel that is a little more difficult to find at the moment. We have passed almost twice at the entrance. Very fast Check Inn with - in our case - very friendly and very customer-oriented receptionist. A later complaint (*) was immediately handled and solved to our satisfaction. - Booked room: Comfort room with free deep garage parking. Good and smoothly functioning free Wi-Fi with sufficient connectivity in the room. A room safe would have been nice. Unfortunately we have not found a safe. Very large flat screen TV. Small balcony with two chairs to the indoor. In the night it was very quiet despite open balcony door. The balcony door was equipped with an electric sun rollo. There was a large whole body wall spiegel with about 100 cm diameter. Unfortunately there were little deposition areas. Confortable double bed with each reading spot left and right. Bad/WC with a disabled and old-age-fit shower with shower hanging. Satirical note to the bath: The toilet top (too high) was fitted for giants and the washing basin (very deep) appeared to be for eggs. - Breakfast: We believed that quality and quantity were all right. (*1) On one day we received no room service until 15:00. After we had advertised this, we received a 5 Euro Drink voucher in compensation.

The conference hotel Seminaris in Bad Honnef was built in 1986 and offers 211 rooms over 5 floors. There are 18 large meeting rooms, restaurant, bar, swimming pool and sauna. Staffs are friendly and welcoming. In the lobby of the hotel there is a stele of a mounted Roman soldier. At walking distance you find the Rhine River and the Drachsenfels where Siegfried – the hero of the Nibelungen – killed the dragon Fáfnir. Our room was adequately furnished and decorated with desk, chair & safe, flat-screen TV and wardrobe. We had a good twin bed, and a separate bathroom with toilet, washroom & shower. All was clean. The window can be open but has no mosquito screen. Free Wi-Fi Internet. No free coffee & tea nor free parking. The buffet breakfast is OK with ample variety: powder based scrambled eggs, cold cuts, bread and rolls, juices, cereals, fruit, milk, yoghurt, fruit juice, tea & coffee. The atmosphere in the Seminaris hotel is conference & business style and we had an OK stay.

Хороший отель но очень простой, в номере нет ни чайника ни холодильника, в моем случае еще и не было горячей воды . Завтрак хороший без изысков но минимальный набор присутствует

Arrived late afternoon in sweltering heat, looking forward to a cool shower and a fresh bed. Unfortunately, we were given room 106 located in an outbuilding 5 minutes walk from the main building. First impressions were not good as we passed a large dirty laundry cage situated at the beginning of a very badly marked/scuffed corridor towards a door which looked like an entrance to a cellar, badly in need of paint. My husband opened the door and pushed me backwards as the heat was unbearable. Outside was approximately 25 degrees but inside was at least 40 degrees with the window open. The room was very small, comparable with a budget hostel. The bathroom was tiny but clean. No facilities for tea/coffee, no comfy seating area, no cosmetic articles… We went back to the reception and as I explained about the heat in the room and the fact that we could not enter the room to use it. The receptionist answered sarcastically that I should open the window!!! This unleashed the beast in me as I wanted a normal hotel room that I could use. Eventually, we were given a standard double room which was basic but comfortable . There was no possibility to order food other than call for external pizza or select from turkey breast or fish which was lukewarm on the buffet style restaurant, no chips or potatoes, the only „warm „ option was rice. Fruit and vegetables available. Understandably, we could not take the dog to the restaurant however, we could take food from the buffet to the bar. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel. We paid extra for our tiny dog and were offered substandard accommodation. I want to relax on holiday, I don’t want to quarrel with a receptionist to get what I paid for. Please note that this is not 4 stars according to the international classification.
