The studio apartment was excellent - clean, spacious, yet cozy at the same time. Most importantly, everything, from the kitchen appliances to the lamps and heater, were functional. The response from the team to queries was also quick and clear. Only thing I found inconvenient was the difficulty locating the apartment at the first instance, especially from the drop-off from the shuttle bus service. Also, there is no elevator, which could be an issue if you have heavy luggage. But overall, a very pleasant experience, and it was pity we could not stay longer.

We stayed a couple of nights in a basement room 001. The room was ok, though not great. It is a basement after all. The location is good, we parked in the back alley, where these apartments are located. It is a paid parking, but it is Reykjavik. The shower was broken. Someone ripped out the handle, so we could not shower. There was a cleaning/ maintenance service that came to the building and we let them know about the non working shower. They said they will address it, but they did not fix it. This throughout the stay we did not use the shower - thus 3 star rating. If you ask where we showered, it is Iceland, so at the hot springs facilities - Blue Lagoon, etc. Internet was good. The place is very clean. We liked the location, since we walked quite a bit.

I am sorry, but this place was not for us for many reasons. Its policy of increasing the room rate depending on the exchange rate of the currency is ridiculous. It does state that there, and you need to do some fine reading to see it. ******* should also make a big note of this. When booking hotels, and we are seasonal travelers, you see a quote and you know that is what will be charged. Normally, hotels, guesthouses, etc., don’t work the way this place does, and we’ve been to many countries. Secondly, the apartments are tucked way back in what appears to be an alley. There is graffiti, not murals, and the trash of the apartments and a restaurant. We were given the basement room, which was next to the trash. The room was a boiler. We came in from shopping, and my glasses fogged up when I entered the room. If you want to open the doors, you leave yourself exposed to anyone who can enter your room or animals, perhaps attracted by the trash dumpsters. The 001 room is the basement room and has French doors that allow you to open them, but we only did it because we were baking in the room. We closed them and sweated when we went to sleep. Then there was the noise from the bathroom. A fan or something kept going on and on. We called and they said they would get someone out the next day, but we were leaving the next day, and I would want a partial refund. Then, when we go out and come back, it’s gone. Did someone enter our room when we left? Good luck with the parking.

We wanted to be immersed in the Dutch culture & this property felt like we were. I traveled with my 2 adult daughters so wanted more space than a small hotel room. The bedroom contained 2 single beds & the living room had a pull out couch & all were very comfortable for sleeping. The kitchen area had everything needed for our stay.

Can’t recommend The front yard looked horrendous. No oven and the stove did not work properly. The toilet did not flush properly. There was no table to sit and eat at! Only two toilet paper rolls, by far not enough for this long of a stay for four persons. Super humid and moist inside the apartment, no air con or did not work properly. Very noisy inside from the streets The bed sofa was horrible.

The apartment was under the stairs, and we had to look around to find it. The locks were just fine. The location is excellent. We would definitely come back. We had asked for a one-bedroom and got a studio with a foldout couch and twin beds in an alcove. I think this was listed as a one-bedroom. Many setups like this are listed as 1 bedroom. The bathroom like did not turn off even after 2 workmen "fixed' it. We got 1 hand towel and 2 bath towels. the staff was responsive, but we should have had adequate towels when we arrived. The TV worked and you could watch many different programs. There were some cooking equipment and dining ware. The staff and workmen were very nice and pleasant.
