The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the pier, and the staff are friendly. While there's no parking available, there are paid parking spaces opposite the hotel, and free parking is a 10-minute walk away, but ask the staff. Breakfast is simple, and the seating is limited, but perfect, with no waiting. Children can share a bed at no extra charge.

There's plenty of parking in P2 parking lot next to the hotel. There's also an elevator. The room wasn't large, but it could accommodate a large suitcase or a small one. There's also a bar downstairs with hot water, which was quite nice.

Room was so small you could barely move. No space for bags. No closet. Towels were hung so high you could not reach them. We were two women and barely space to move. No hooks for towels or wash clothes. Two twin beds but would work for one twin bed, not two. Dinner was run by one staff person who also ran the desk, wasn’t sure if they were the cook as well. Food was good though. Need another staff person at dinner. Parking was rough, drive onto sidewalk to drop bags. Lucky it was not high season when we were there. Reservations made nine months earlier and we were put in tiny annex room.

Vorsicht bei Buchungen – fragwürdiges Verhalten! Wir haben im Juni 2025 im 101 Hotel in Reykjavik übernachtet. Die Unterkunft war in einem sehr schlechten Zustand: Lärm in der Nacht, ein technisches Problem mit dem Zimmer. Beim duschen war die Zimmer total überflutet und man hat keine Abhilfe bekommen, mit dem Handtüchern und ein unfreundlicher Empfang. Zimmer waren sehr sehr klein, so dass man sich überhaupt nicht drehen könnte mit einer riesigen Bett und man konnte überhaupt nicht seine Sachen auspacken Frühstücksbuffet klein, aber überall waren die unsauberen Teller und Geschirr gelegen, so dass man sich überhaupt nicht hinsetzen könnte Als wir im Nachhinein eine Bewertung abgeben wollten, wurde unsere Buchung kommentarlos storniert – offenbar um eine negative Rezension zu verhindern. Das ist nicht nur unprofessionell, sondern auch völlig inakzeptabel. Wir möchten andere Reisende warnen und empfehlen, sich vor der Buchung sehr genau zu informieren.

Lovely hotel in a quiet residential area but very close to the heart of things. The only negative was that although the rain shower was wonderful, it flooded the bathroom floor and even leaked out to the hallway. Maybe that’s why we were given lots of extra towels. Staff are polite and helpful, beds are super comfy and breakfast was nice.

This is a charming little hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They very kindly kept my pajamas for me, as I left them in the room. I was very pleased to get them back. The rooms are small but the beds are extremely comfortable and clean, and the breakfast is good.
