This was a great hotel in a great location. However, do not stay on the bottom floor, it is very noisy from people outside when the bars close.

Very nice accommodations - rooms very efficient and cozy Walkable to all the hot spots in downtown Reykjavik… Like the courtyard parking Nextdoor is a fantastic restaurant where they accept a 20% coupon from the hotel

A perfect location close to most things you'd want to do. Even many viator tours will pick you up at Bus Station 6 on the next block. However, the NOISE at night is unbearable. We've stayed in both, the front facing and back facing, rooms and the noise is horrendous. I sleep with ear plugs and it didn't help much. On the front side you hear people walking up and down the sidewalk. On the back side, people revving engines and racing nearby at 2 am. Also fireworks at 3 am. It's not just on Fridays. It's really ridiculous, even with the windows closed. However, with the windows closed the rooms get hot and stuffy. I will not book this hotel again.

Rooms are clean, large and spacious, but lack storage for clothes. Breakfast is not included. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Location is excellent, in the center of the walking district and near the major museums and tourist attractions. Lots of street noise on Friday nights, other nights were quiet.

Great experience at 101 Hotel We enjoyed our stay at the lovely 101 Hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff was warm and friendly, and the location was perfect to visit what the city had to offer. We would definitely stay there again!

The Hotel 101 was an excellent boutique Hotel. The staff was courteous, competent, helpful and a delight to interact with. The room was large and comfortable. It was wonderful to have a clawfoot tub in the bedroom but I did not stay long enough to just relax. The shower and separate water closet were a treat. The large bed and fluffy pillow were comfortable. The electrical adapter and sleep mask were both needed items for the June visit. The lounge was a good gathering spot for new friends and the restaurant around the corner was "the best". Our friends liked this hotel better than theirs.

The rooms are super hot and the shades don’t work so it is like sleeping in daylight. Not a viable hotel in my opinion given cost. For 3 nights we could not sleep. You can open windows but it is loud outside. Work Marriott property I have ever been to
