Petradi Beach Lounge Hotel

The Hotel is located at a 25 min walking distance from the old town. There is no on site parking. The nearest free parking is 10 to 12 mins by walk. The family room is not appropriately designed. The main bed is in a loft with no ventilation or air conditioner. The toilet is very small. The breakfast at the restaurant is very sparse. Expected much better. This is not a value for money hotel.

Be mindful about very busy and noisy street that the hotel is located on.

Unfortunately, my experience at Hotel Petradi was extremely disappointing and far below any acceptable standard for the price paid. I had booked two classic rooms with a street view, but to my surprise, one of the rooms was located in the basement, with no natural light – completely unacceptable and not what was advertised. The rooms were stuffy and poorly ventilated, with a strong smell of damp and old furniture. The walls were dirty and showed clear signs of mold and moisture, and the doors were old, damaged, and poorly maintained. On top of that, there is no sound insulation – you can hear everything: footsteps, conversations, and doors slamming, which made it impossible to rest. Lighting was another major issue – although there were 3 light fixtures in the room, none of them worked properly, and we were left in near darkness during the evening. The bathroom was dirty, with a strong and unpleasant smell of urine, and clearly had not been cleaned properly. The general hygiene of the hotel is simply unacceptable. The photos shown online are completely misleading and do not reflect the real condition of the hotel at all. The entire atmosphere is gloomy and unwelcoming, more like an old sanatorium than a hotel. ⚠️ I absolutely do not recommend this place. The hotel desperately needs full renovation, proper cleaning staff, and a serious reassessment of the services offered. It is not worth the money and should be avoided.

The service and the location were both very good, and the staff was attentive. However, the premises could benefit from some maintenance and a deeper cleaning. Our room’s door didn’t close properly, which unfortunately let in quite a few mosquitoes at night. Some areas of the room and the shower needed small repairs, and we couldn’t fully close the curtains, which made it hard to get a good night’s sleep due to the outside light. The towels were more grayish than white, and we did notice a few small bugs around the room. The swimming pool also seemed like it could have been better maintained. Wi-Fi is only available in the common areas, but the staff kindly provided us with a router for the room, which worked fairly well.
