"To best describe this place, it's like a mini paradise atop a cliff overlooking the beautiful sea, with a twist of staying in large cylindrical concert culverts. You can easily spot it along the road to Damai with its large circular logo at its gate. It was closed upon my arrival at 3pm, but due to the main entrance being easily seen from the receptionist area, it didn't take long for them to open the gate, and I just drove right in. The receptionist was very polite and welcoming, decently professional as well, after checking us in we were given a quick tour around, highlighting the facilities and public areas. The room itself, being quite quirky in its own way, isn't too difficult to maneuver around, as long as you don't rush yourself and knock yourself around the relatively tiny room. Adequate steps are built to help climbing up and moving around, with simple storage spots around the bed, which by itself takes up about half of the room. The other side of the room is the bathing area, which I would say is surprisingly spacious enough to use. So a bed and a bathing area sums up the entire, unique cylindrical room. The hotel itself is nicely planned, guests can pamper themselves by picking their favorite spots located around the place, and enjoy a marvelous view of the sea. There's also a small private beach all the way down the cliff too. Facilities include swimming pools, sauna room, washer + dryer machines, gymnasium, library, etc. are pretty neat if you need them. I would say the place is great for couples, and a short refresher trip. I technically live in the city just half an hour drive away, but to catch a break from work and relax here for a day, I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat. Just make sure you've got the legs to climb up and down the place!"

"The resort is literally a piece of paradise. The location in the middle of the rainforest but somehow on the coast is just perfect for relaxing and taking a break from the busy life. The resort really tries and succeeds at minimizing its' impact on nature and so everything feels in harmony with the surrounding nature. It doesn't need a huge concrete building with 20 floors and I appreciste that immensely because it improved my experience to be so close to nature. The treehouse was GORGEOUS, spacious, clean, and well air-conditioned and it was definitely the right choice. The first beach is wonderful and great for swimming and activities.I would recommend staying for 3-7 nights. I will definitely come back and to me, it was worth every penny."

"A perfect spot for a short getaway from the city. While the resort shows some signs of age, the facilities are well maintained. The room was spacious, and the beach offered a relaxing atmosphere. We had a wonderful and enjoyable stay! Ohh, the resort offered some activities for families too!"

"We had earlier stayed at Riverview Majestic Hotel from 11th to 13th June. A Fabulous Hotel with Great Breakfast spread for the Rate we paid. Now at Roxy Beach Resort we had Mountain View but it was fine as most if the time we are indulging in activities. The Room was fine and clean. Front office neeeds to check their in room Safe Box, as it was not operating. Next in the morning we went down for Breakfast thinking this Hotel knows what it is doing as i have seen many advertisements on Roxy Hotel almost everywhere 😳 To my shock the Breakfast layout was totally out. There was no table setting at 7.45am. Tables didn't have even Salt n Pepper shakers as it stndard. Although they are serving hard boilded eggs. The morning juice was way watered down ” Orange Juice” The sugar was in a large jar. More like 2 Star Service The Best part ” Cook” tosses the roti canai into the shaving dish, then he tosses the sausages into another shaving dish. That's how F&B handles food. Next lost of Green Bottle flies in the Restaurant From this i know that the Hotel Manager, F& B manager and so called Chef don't check the Restaurant Coffee House. We shouldn't be paying such High Rates for a Resort Hotel Operated in this manner. I believe the Owners have put in alot of effort."
