We stayed here overnight only as we were on a long road trip. The hotel is connected on either side to Circus, Circus and Eldorado so it was almost like one continuous gaming floor. The rooms were a good size and provided a nice view of Reno and the mountains beyond. The whole place was clean. One comment - we arrived at 2.30pm (check-in is from 3pm). The reception had 3 staff sitting around but they wanted $25 each room for early check-in. Of course for the sake of 30 minutes we decided to wait. When 3pm came, there were about 20 people all trying to check-in at the same time - but only 2 reception staff available. Surely a small amount of leeway on timing would be common sense! Otherwise we enjoyed the free parking and the vibe of the hotel. The drinks on the ****** floor however were shockingly expensive (over $20 for a single Captain Morgan’s and Coke before tip).

It took us about an hour just to check in, then another half hour to get to the room…there was a huge line to get in the elevator. It was my first time at the circus circus and I got charged extra for resort fees and taxes, I usually stay at the GSR or Hampton inn and get a suite which would have cost me less and less stress and time.

Our group from the Bay area goes to Reno twice a year for the past 20 years. Late August for golf/fantasy football draft and in March for March Madness. This was our first time staying at The Eldorado thanks to the Executive ****** Host Grant Wellington. I rarely give 5-star reviews. The rooms are perfectly cleaned, with comfortable beds and bedding, strong water pressure, beautiful views, etc. The world-class dining. Yes, I said world-class dining was off the charts. La Strada was one of the best Italian restaurants on this side of the pond. We are all foodies from the bay. The all around experience was perfect. Roxy is also very good. We are looking forward to returning for March Madness!
