The location is very good, the train station is only a 3-minute walk away. The hotel has an elegant appearance. The room is more stylish and larger than expected. It is fully equipped with bottled water, specialty coffee, chocolate, biscuits and a variety of tea bags. Just checked in and there were no extra boxes of tissues available. The elevator was broken, but the staff quickly helped to move the luggage. The service attitude was very good👍🏻I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again next time. 👏🏻👏🏻

The reception lady was not very friendly when checked into the hotel, but the rest of the staff are very nice. The room looks dark and old. The shower switch fell out a few times when we tried to turn it on. The toilet got stuck easily. But the location was perfect, one minute walk from the train station.

Very convenient, very close to the commercial street, close to Reading Railway Station, you can walk through the station square to the Thames River, and feel the tranquility and leisure in the beautiful scenery of breeze and sunshine. I booked a Wowcher voucher for a cream tea. Wow! Much better than I anticipated. My daughter and I had a reserved table. The aesthetic was amazing comfortable and clean. The staff were polite friendly and warm. The food was amazing flavoursome and yummy. The creme brulee to die for. We enjoyed teas with our Mini burgers Fish Tacos Chicken wing all cooked to perfection. The warm scones were lovely at the end. I will definitely be returning with my son's for steak night and have registered for a Malmaison membership Thankyou Malmaison Reading for a lovely experience, much appreciated. Rebecca and Kairo.
