It did the job for a night. Stayed after Reading festival, it was not clean at all. Unwashed duvet and the room had not been cleaned.
If you need something cheap then I would recommend it but don't expect a lot

Extremely dirty room. Dirty blanket, hair everywhere. Gross. I spent three nights there and I won't recommend to anybody to spend even one. The WC never flushed correctly, leaving the dark water there and, were like a 10 time flush needed! Horrible. At least the bed was comfortable, but the pillows were not. I won't go there back ever!

It is an old hotel but everything is fine. The receptionists were kind and friendly.

The hotel is near good establishments esp the Univ of Reading. It is just by the roadside and parking spaces are available.
The noise was quite disturbing because our room was near to a partition door.
Breakfast was decent.

Really loved everything about this hotel - from my stay to the food and it’s location close to the city centre. Will definitely choose to stay here every time I visit Reading! Staff is really friendly and helpful as well - they knock on the door every morning the room!

The location is good, the accommodation is average and dark, and there is a height difference in the aisles. Be careful when carrying heavy luggage. Fortunately, the staff are helpful when checking in, but you have to rely on yourself when leaving.

It is close to the city center and there are buses, but there is no toothpaste, toothbrush, slippers, or refrigerator.
