Courtyard Boston Raynham

Helpful friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast options a bit limited and bar hours short. Starbucks espresso drinks excellent as usual, but coffee from jug mediocre. Noon checkout was convenient and helpful. Decent location near I-495.

I travel to Raynham for work frequently and our team has always stayed at the Courtyard for many years. During the first night of one of my stays, I woke up with 6 bed bug bites on my foot. I immediately let the front desk know and at first, the receptionist mentioned she couldn’t switch me to a different room because she didn’t have any king rooms vacant. I added that I didn’t mind switching to a queen as I did not want to try and look for another hotel. Eventually she spoke to her assistant general manager and she was able to put me in a different room. Later that morning, their assistant general manager had advised me that the chief engineer inspected the room and they could not find any evidence of bed bugs. She mentioned it could be possible that I had an allergic reaction to the bed sheets since guests have complained about that before. At that point, I wasn’t going to accept the feeling of being gaslighted and I responded with how I know the difference between an allergic reaction and bed bug bites. I do not have sensitivity to detergents and I went on to say I wouldn’t mind getting evaluated by a dermatologist to prove my case. The only credit I can give is they did follow up and check in. They even gave me a mini snack gift basket. Not what I needed but they tried. I would rather receive compensation for my stay like additional points added to my Marriot Bonvoy account.
