Mom-and-pop local motel
A wonderfully friendly couple run this motel.
The property itself is very old and it shows, but it’s acceptable, and I love not staying at a chain but an independent mom-and-pop motel.

Welcoming and comfortable!
The beds were the most comfortable and had the softest sheets of any of the hotels we stayed in the whole 2 week trip. I love good Wyoming hospitality! We weren't going to get in until after the office closed so Dave left us a key and instructions. Very western themed with a variety of western art lining the hallway. This is one of our go to hotels when traveling.

Terrible communication
I tried calling because I had booked the wrong city ( confusion), tried calling, couldn't leave a message, no one answered
And the phone number covered several properties

It has a charming Western theme going and the staff was super kind and personal but the facility doesn’t look like it has been updated since the 70s.

The hosts were nice and the decor was a bit dated, but everthing was clean. The bathroom ceiling was cracking. Overall it was a good stay and i'd stay there again.

Western art, an antler as the entrance door pull, antiques...an old lodge fixed up to be a Western experience - very clean, neat, excellant sheets and pillows. So refreshing to not have a 'cookie cutter' hotel experience. Run by a wonderful couple.

An honest hotel. What this means: I had a mixup with my booking and confirmation and wound up not staying here after all, but somewhere else. The desk clerk was helpful and told me what to do to solve the problem. I was afraid I’d be stuck paying two hotels for one night but he had a helpful attitude that I appreciated so much. Very rare nowadays. Everything got fixed up. I will stay here next time for sure because it looks nice & he was a standup helpful person!
