The hotel was very lovely. Rooms were large and comfortable. The elephant safari, dugout boat trip, and other activities were fun, exciting, and safe. The guides were known and the staff friendly and helpful. There was a variety of food and all was delicious.

We stayed at Landmark Forest Park for a Chitwan safari arranged by Mountain Monarch Adventures, as part of a trek + safari package. Landmark was selected by MMA for us, in other words. And what a wonderful choice. We’re very grateful to have stayed Landmark. Clean, comfortable, and evidently relatively new - in great condition. But I’m taking the time to write a review because the staff really stands out. From our pickup st the airport to check in, to retrieving our luggage which somehow didn’t make it onto our flight. To our guide, Sanjay to the safari organizer, Krishna. Both really took care of us. And in the dining room, we really looked forward to every meal. Delicious. And there, the restaurant team, Sanjeep in particular - who always remembered how I like my coffee - noticed I wasn’t eating dinner. I came to sit with my wife but had been nursing a cold and had no appetite. He inquired if I was as ok. And hearing my situation asked if some fruit would be good and went to the kitchen to have it made. This was do nice and caring and helpful. What more can I say. Thank you, Sanjeep. Thank you, Landmark. Thank you Mountain Monarch Adventures.

Fantastic service from the very service minded team. They made it a very unique experience. Highly recommendable! They are helpful in any way no matter what you ask for. We booked our stay last minute (2 hours before arrival) and was welcomed the best way possible. The location of the hotel is nice; close to the small market and where the safaris begin - and just 3 km from the elephant breeding center.

We had a nice room here with all that we required and it felt relaxed and peaceful. The pool was lovely and we were able to cool off with drinks and snacks poolside. What wasn’t so nice was the dining experience. The food was okay (warm not hot) but the dining area felt like a food hall, nothing luxurious about it. There is zero atmosphere here, it was like feeding time at the zoo. The other issue we had was an inability to change larger cash denominations into smaller. With the constant tipping in Nepal, the need for smaller denominations was something handled very well in other hotels. There was a tour operator onsite (in the foyer) who we turned to after the reception staff couldn’t help out. The tour operator was seen to be dealing in large handfuls of cash on a regular basis over the days but refused to change cash stating he had nothing to offer.

The staff was excellent - they made me feel very welcome and answered any questions I had. The pool was a great temp for October and refreshing. Wonderful buffet meals, more than I could eat but gave me a chance to try local foods without ordering a whole meal. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.. if i had one thing for them to work on was due to humidity and possibly water in the bathroom above ours the ceiling in the bathroom was dark not sure if mold but on the last morning it did drip water. Sonjay Raut was an amazing guide. And the river trips, and jungle safari were great.

We spent two nights and three days at this hotel.The cuisine is amazing.The employees are excellent. The rooms are well-kept and spacious. We had a fantastic time. This hotel is highly recommended by us. Our tour guide Krishna deserves special recognition, as do the other employees Sanjeep and restaurant manager Shekhar.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Landmark Hotel, Chitwan and I must say it was an excellent experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome right away. The service was exceptional throughout my stay. Whether it was dining at the hotel restaurant or requesting assistance from the front desk, every interaction was met with professionalism and warmth.

It is beautiful location . The team at hotel is very kind and supportive. We being a group of senior citizens and 100% Vegetarian , it was taken care by Entire kitchen team . Rooms , swimming pool and entire facility is extremely good…Thanks to team and our Best wishes , Special thanks to Mr. Mahato of restaurant side and the resident manager …Best wishes.
