Riverside County Resort

Fantastic Country House Bungalows style property tucked away in a hilly region called Ambaghat about 2 hrs from Kolhapur. Overlooking a river, the only sound you'll hear all day is that of the rustling trees & rustling breeze. From the Hotel, we did an Open Jeep Top Jungle Safari with visit to a local dam, jungle & some scenic valley view spots. Very scenic property, super romantic & very little do except take long leisurely strolls in the 30 acre green grass laden property which has gently undulating lawns & outdoor games. For families with kids, there's Pickle Ball, Tennis, Net Cricket, Badminton, Table Tennis, Snooker, Carrom & even a very clean ultra Blue Swimming Pool - its all there, or you can just settle with a book from the small book shelf in the reception & enjoy the wind whe swaying in the hammocks.. Restaurant is passable with local & Indian/Chinese dishes and breakfast has a fairly decent spread that is sufficient & tasty. Food & Drinks are reasonably priced & service is slow but friendly & smiling. All in All a must visit property - You'll make some wholesome memories..

Absolutely horrible experience . The rooms are not at all clean. Very old and not maintained well. Food choices are very limited. Quality of food not upto the mark. Too many insects in the rooms , bathrooms stink very old with no maintenance.

Resort is quite good on bank of a very small river. 2 suggestion that’s why I gave rating of 4 in few areas: 1. Swimming pool slab was unmoulded hence its sharp edge are little risky, for which have feedback and I hope they would correct it immediately and confirm back. 2. Suite or 1BR room outside room also should have ac. Otherwise apart from this everything was quite good. A small wooden piece had entered in my nephew leg and the spa staff (the taller girl) was quite helpful for the efforts she took to take it out and lot of appreciations to her..
