Place seems nice and there’s a lot to do, but since the accommodation is in tents, your experience depends on your neighbors. When we (family with kids (3, 7) went, a large group of school students was there, they were noisy until late into the night. Some lights were switching on and off around our tent, kids were laughing loudly - talking, having fun - and we couldn’t sleep. We requested them, their teachers, and the reception to help - reception kept sending security who couldn’t do anything about it. And when we requested to be moved to another more quiet tent so that we could sleep, staff said that we would need to pay an extra 300 AED for an upgrade. We fell asleep probably by 11, and at some point (I assume midnight) we woke up again because fireworks were being set very close to our tent - I’m not sure if this was organized by the staff or some adventurous kids looking to have some fun. After some grumping and groaning, and putting my daughter back to bed, we finally fell asleep again. Oh and I forgot to mention that there are some clubs nearby that blast loud musing late into the night as well (on top of all the other noise). Suffice it to say that the night / sleep experience was awful and we were regretting having stayed at Longbeach Campground. Noisy night aside, we were the “only family” with young kids on the property at the time - and so they closed the kids activity center early, and we weren’t able to do the activities like bracelet making etc as well. On a positive note, breakfast was nice; Dinner was an extra 140 AED per person so we decided to go out instead; Pottery making was fun; Didn't do much else because most of the kids activities were in the morning and after the nightmare of a night, none of us woke up as early as we usually might. Overall, I like the idea of the place - and it was done nicely - but we were unfortunate to be stuck with a group of young teens looking to have fun late into the night, and the staff was refusing to help us out even though empty tents were available where we could easily have been moved. We had a pretty tiring night, and I wish we had come at a time when it was less chaotic and more peaceful.
