Rangarthing eystra Hotels with Bars

Very close to the Seri Yalan Waterfall, about ten minutes drive. We stayed here on the return trip. The room was a bit cold at night. The flour outside at sunrise in the morning was very good. Breakfast was basic.

💯💯💯 recommend Lindartun Guesthouse! Stayed here for 1 night on 1st October 2024 after our drive to Highlands and got here when it was already dark but i loved the drive to the junction from the main road to the guesthouse. It was pretty dark around the area which we thought we could be lucky for aurora sightings but it was cloudy. Luckily, I asked the owner when was the last aurora sighting at the guesthouse and she immediately opened her laptop and that’s when I found put there’s aurora forecast website in Iceland. She was the one that let us know there’s higher chance to spot aurora on the upcoming friday due to clear sky. Oh btw, for our check-in process, when I first arrived and entered the guesthouse, please take off your shoes by the entrance, and go to reception area infront of the kitchen and take the house phone to call the owner. We booked room no. 5 which cones with a sofa bed and the long toom was so cute and cozy. This is the cutest guesthouse room design among all 13 accoms across the country during our trip. I really loved it a lot as the room was long and spacious. The common dining area was really nice and big which I didn’t really spend time here. But I used the kitchen the next morning to boil hot water and make myself my hot chocolate and instant mushroom soup. Worth my money. Will book again if I visit Iceland again next time! One in advance, the image currently used by Trip.com shows another hotel. The Hotel Skoga has a dark rooftop and is now quite awaiting. This is, together with the price, also the biggest criticism point. To offer an old house with small rooms for this price is simply unshameful, even for Icelandic conditions. In addition to the state of the building, the small rooms and the price there was nothing to expose, cleanliness and breakfast were okay. For €50 less per night it might even be worth a recommendation, but not under these circumstances.
