Ho adorato l'arredo spartano della mia cella-stanza, essenziale, pieno di nicchie e minimale nel mobilio, ma tutto preatrco, efficiente, pulito. Vista suggestiva sui valloni selvatici. Il bagno è un'altra cella adiacente, grande quasi come la stanza, comodo, pulito, moderno. L'albergo è in una posizione strepitosa, al bordo del costone roccioso, in fondo al grande ombroso giardino pubblico che di notte chiude, la struttura del vecchio convento ha sfruttato ottimamente gli spazi comuni. Molto, ma molto da migliorare invece la colazione, per me uno dei must di un soggiorno: scarsa e banale sia nei dolci che nei salati, cappuccino fatto col frullatore, la bellezza del referrotio non basta a compensare un'offerta poco allettante in un luogo dove sai che, fuori, ti aspettano delizie pasticciere formidabili. Non mi ha fatto togliere una delle cinque stelle che avevo premeditato, ma è stata una delusione.

The position of the convent is outstanding surrounded by gardens, views over the hills and close to places of interest in Ragusa. The rooms (cells) are clean and comfortable. They run cooking classes by an excellent chef so we expected an above average breakfast. Unfortunately this was not the case. Don’t despair there are lovely cafes not far from the hotel.

Piacevole soggiorno con amici, location originale, suggeritomi da una Guida Turistica del posto. Camere pulite, ottima cucina nonché la presentazione dei piatti, personale disponibilissimo. Grazie a tutto lo staff per averci fatto trascorre delle giornate in relax.

Hotel is enchanting, rooms are comfortable and very clean! Most comfortable bed & pillow. Very helpful & friendly service all round. Special mention for Salvo Cucuzza the Assistant Director. The food at the Hotel restaurant Cenobio was superb.

Inserito al fondo del grazioso "Giardino Ibleo", l'hotel e' la magnifica, intelligente, ristrutturazione di un grande convento cappuccino del 17* secolo. Pertanto le camere sono le celle dei monaci, unificate per lo piu' a due a due. Buon livello di confort, ottima pulizia. Grande gentilezza di tutto il personale! Il ristorante dell'hotel, "Il Cenobio", e' veramente di alto livello e fa gustare piatti gourmet eccezionali!

Located in the heart of Ragusa Ibla, with entrance inside the enchanting Iblean gardens, this hotel has managed to maintain the ancient memories of the previous Capuchin convent and also the same atmosphere of calm and relaxation. The minimal rooms, but with all comforts, are comfortable and fresh, with a splendid view of the valley. A special mention to the hotel restaurant where haute cuisine dishes are cooked respecting the best local ingredients. Highly recommended!

Location Unica nello stupendo ex Convento dei Cappuccini di Ragusa Ibla dentro i Giardini Iblei. Stanze immutate nelle dimensioni delle celle ma ovviamente in stile moderno ma semplice. Pulito, organizzato, buon confort e buon Wi-Fi. Colazione di assoluto livello con dolce e salato di prima qualità e con prodotti locali.

My wife and I spent one night in Ragusa, and stayed in this convent in Ragusa Ibla, the lower town. Pretty place, clean room, and the convent is reachable through a large public park near the center of the old town, steps away from restaurants and shops.
