This hotel is a total delight. The original late nineteenth-century building is very beautiful (mostly mock Norman-Arabic) with the most charming gardens, pretty (if small) pool, and elegant modern rooms. The chapel, where you can choose to breakfast is especially lovely. The staff are smiling, helpful, a pleasure. The only drawback is that the hotel is a short walk into old Ragusa, and a fair schlep from Ibla. As a moderately fit man in my early sixties, I found this fine, but those who don't like a stroll should perhaps look for somewhere more central. For me this remains perhaps the nicest hotel in which I have ever stayed.

Palazzo di inizio ‘900 elegantemente incastonato nel centro città. Le camere sono arredate con gusto e, all’esterno, c’é uno splendido giardino e una piscina con un piccolo ma ben fornito bar. Colazione varia e abbondante. Staff molto cordiale e professionale. Ottimo per un weekend romantico.

Beautiful building, nice room with terrace. Helpful and friendly staff, especially the bartender. However, we always book a hotel with a bar so that we can chat or read in the bar in the evening. It turned out that it was a pool bar and open from 2 to 7 p.m. There was also no lounge to sit in. It gave the feeling that we were in a bed and breakfast. Please state at bar that it is a pool bar and that there is no bar/lounge in the hotel. Otherwise a lovely hotel.

Villa Bascarino is a charming place to stay in Ragusa. It’s an old private residence that has been beautifully converted to comfortable accommodation with a tranquil garden and pool area where we were able to have lunch after our arrival. Our room was spacious with a terrace, the breakfast offered a wide choice and the staff were very friendly, helpful and kind. Parking is freely available in front of the Villa or free nearby in the street. We left something valuable behind but a staff member (Aldo) arranged for it to be couriered to our next accommodation which was so very kind of him. I would highly recommend staying at Villa Boscarino

The hotel is exquisite. The villa renovation was done with an eye to preserving the character of the Villa, while at the same time allowing for modern conveniences. Each space in the hotel felt comfortable and inviting. We had the Jr. Suite and it was quiet, and full of light during the day , with a beautiful view of the horizon. The Villa Boscarino, sitting on a hill in a residential neighbourhood, is a short drive from the heart of Ragusa superiore. One would ideally arrive via car. Parking is uncomplicated. The hotel staff were wonderful and organised dinner for us on short notice for two evenings. Breakfast lovely - fresh fruit and pastries, really special. We would definitely stay here again.

Building is unique . Very nice room and garden was outstanding. Its located in a quite area.
