Excellent stay, well maintained place, easy walk from entrance old city, rooms are clean, quite nice, staff are very friendly, helpful.Great location, breakfast could be improved ,nice rooftop with view of old city. It's a Must try experience.

Très beau dar. Très belle chambre , salle de bain avec des produits les sens de Marrakech Déco très sympa, marocaine et tendance. Accueil correct mais manquant de chaleur...c'est dommage Petit déjeuner buffet , varié et délicieux, dans une belle salle à manger

Loved the ambience, the welcoming helpful staff, of this small hotel in an excellent position, with relatively easy access from parking area. Charming staff, spacious room. delicious breakfast of super sweet fresh OJ, light cheese omelette, orange slices with cinnamon, cake and good coffee.

Sincerely friendly staff, excellent breakfast, dinner was not possible, fully booked, one night stay in a small classic room, everything was present, wifi, rooftop pool, beautifully decorated road, very close to everything. Surprisingly, its not a 4* hotel, it definitely deserves a 4* rating. Marvellous. Riad.

Everything was excellent. We enjoyed our stay at Dar Shaan very much. It is really a nice place arranged in Moroccan style with a modern touch. The rooms are spacious and quiet equipped with all modern facilities (Wi Fi, safe, air conditioning, etc.). Even there is a lift in the house. We were like at home: in our disposition was inner courtyard with drawing rooms around it on the ground floor, as well as sitting places on upper floors and rooftop terrace with a pool, sun beds and comfortable sitting places to relax. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of Dar Shaan is very convenient. It is located in Medina, just a few minutes to the ocean and Kasbah of Udayas.

We stayed one night in Rabat in this very elegant riad located at the entrance to the medina near the Kasbah of Rabat that is exceptionally beautiful to visit, sits along the coast and offers fabulous views. I hadn’t realized that within it are also residences. The riad’s location is excellent with easy access to the medina, the boardwalk and the kasbah. Communications with the staff was seamless and the riad has an elevator to access upper floors, with the rooftop pool and terrace offering lovely views. It is well-appointed with quality materials throughout and comfortable bed. As with many riads they offer meals – our flight was too early to enjoy breakfast but dinner was tasty. They were really nice in providing us coffee in the room for the morning of our very early departure. Coordinating transport to the airport in Casablanca (3.45am) was seamless and timely. Really appreciated everyone. Thank you.

Cet endroit est un véritable havre de paix. Il a été rénové avec goût et beaucoup d'authenticité. Nous y séjournons depuis plusieurs jours et nous ne pouvions pas espérer un plus beau lieu pour nous ressourcer en famille. Le personnel (Ayoub, Aymen, Léon, l'adorable dame qui nous accueille chaque matin..) toujours souriant est aux petits soins avec nous. Le petit déjeuner, un moment hors du temps, apaisant aux saveurs du Maroc. L'espace piscine, idéal pour se relaxer en fin de journée. Et enfin, le Riad est idéalement situé, au cœur de la medina, à proximité de la Kasbah des Oudayas. En visite à Rabat, le Dar Shaan est une adresse à ne pas manquer. Nous reviendrons c' est certain!

What a wonderful, beautiful and friendly Riad! Recently opened, this small (approx 10 rooms) hotel is on the edge of the Medina and close to the Kasbah. Rooms are very comfortable, diligently clean and the staff extend the Moroccan hospitality in abundance. The pool is cute, secluded, and the adjacent balconies offer rooftop views of the medina and (impressive to this foreign traveller) - offer a dramatic stage for hearing the call to prayer. The breakfast is plentiful, and if requested in advance they can offer a lunch and / or dinner. The food is great, the ambiance relaxed and gorgeous decor / architecture.
