A beautiful, peaceful oasis in the middle of the bustling city of Quito. Walkable to everything. The staff is gracious and the atmosphere is spa-like in its tranquility. Highly recommend!

Our family and wedding party stayed in Casona 1914 the first week of August. The charming and authentic Casona was spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds, and delicious, local and filling breakfasts. Both managers were lovely, bilingual and willing to help at all times to provide suggestions on travel, tour guides, and to meet room needs for our large group. The hotel was close to the fabulous subway and easily walkable to the Old Town. Every member of our party was able to have an appropriate space at their price level. Everyone left rested and thrilled to have experienced this authentic Ecuadorian hotel.

I loved my stay at this hotel. As a solo female traveler, this place was perfect. I felt safe and secure and the hotel was within walking distance to all the main sites in the historic center. The breakfast was great. All of the staff members were incredible friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed during my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel (I already have to a friend who is planning to come to Quito). Thanks for a lovely stay!

We had an amazing experience at the hotel. Superb service and attention to detail. Located just outside of the colonial old town you can walk and enjoy the culture and vibe of old Quito. Breakfast was yummy, and we dinner one night. the rooms are individually and pleasantly decorated

We had the most wonderful experience for our first night in Quito. Mariel and Diego went above and beyond to make our stay absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend having dinner in the gazebo on the terrace. What a view! Also, Otto, the Alsatian/German Shepherd was a sweetheart. I am so glad we explored the property and got to meet him. I will definitely return!

The staff at Casona 1914 made our stay comfortable and delightful! I highly recommend this hotel! Its location is central to many Old Town sights. We could see the Basilica from our windows! Breakfast was delicious. Even though the entrance is on a busy city street, once inside there is a sense of peace. We did hear street noice, but it did not interfere with our sleep.
