I stayed at the Coco Beach Hotel in Manuel Antonio, and overall, it was an excellent experience. The rooms are spacious, well-air-conditioned, and very comfortable, plus they have a beautiful view, which made my stay enjoyable. The value for money is also noteworthy, as the hotel offers a great experience without breaking the bank. Access to the beach is quick, just a few minutes' walk away, which is a big plus.
However, there was one small drawback: the housekeeping, especially in the bathroom, was a bit lacking. This was a detail that could be improved to make the experience even more enjoyable. Nevertheless, I recommend this hotel for its ideal location and comfortable rooms at a competitive price.

We stayed two nights in room 9A. The room looked clean but very outdated. Internet was very fast and the AC worked very well. The room had a decent size with a little storage area that you could lock. However, there were too many mosquitoes. We realized that the top frame of the door was missing so, at night, if you had the light on mosquitoes would enter. We fixed that by putting a towel on top of the door so it would close. Also, the window didn't close completely so the mosquitoes could also enter through the window. We asked for some more towels and, at first it looked like they didn't want to give us more, but they finally did. The room was clean. Although the pool area wasn't very big, it was nice. Both the beach and the Manuel Antonio National park were at walking distance (5-10min). Overall it was an OK hotel that allowed us to explore the Manuel Antonio area on a budget.

The pictures on the website must be from about 20 years ago and doctored. Hotel management not welcoming at all, it seemed too much bother for them. The room was very basic, the bed too big for the space, it jutted out and blocked the the bathroom door. The tiles were cracked. Had to keep the curtains closed, the windows had minimal coverings so anyone could look in from the corridor. The cleaning was minimal, the towels were ripped and like cardboard, the shower mat was even worse. I wouldn’t recommend staying.

Las habitaciones huelen demasiado a húmedo, las instalaciones descuidadas y cuando solicitamos retirarnos xq no se pudo dormir bien x el mal olor, solicitamos la devolución de 1 noche y se rehusaron.

The hotel is definitely rough to look at. There are cracks all over the tile on the floor and because the doors are wooden they are warped and you have to figure out how to plug some holes to keep the bugs out. That being said the location could not be better. It's less than 5 minutes to walk to the beach. If you're looking for something on a budget that isn't a hostel this is great. It's not the best to look at, but it's a comfy bed, the staff is helpful and the location is amazing. With some updates it would be perfect!
