Camera senza tv e senza telefono. Porta e finestre che non chiudono bene; lasciano passare aria e rumori anche da chiuse. Non ci sono persiane o tapparelle e la tenda non oscura, quindi tra rumori e luce è come dormire sul balcone e si sentono moltissimo le auto perché la strada è vicinissima. Ristorante con prezzi esagerati.

A localização é perfeita, com acesso à praia e a uma distancia apropriada para ir andando no Parque Nacional. Tínhamos reservado na Colina mas mudamos para perto da praia porque tinha muita escada para meus pais. As pessoas são muito prestativas e a comida foi uma surpresa positiva. O cafe da manha tem todas as opções, com um bom mix de frutas, comidas típicas da Costa Rica e algumas opções saludáveis. O espaco frente a praia e amplo é confortável para passar o dia por lá. Como ponto de melhoria fica a infraestrutura, em alguns casos desfaçada (piscina) ou com necessidade de manutenção.

Not very clean, my “villa” up the hill had a great view but was old, very humid, holes on the pillow cases, scratches on the duvet cover and too much space under the main door thus allowing for caterpillars to get it. Breakfast is terribly poor : jam in plastic packets, no pancakes unless you pay extra, no cake : simply bread, Casado, omelette and potatoes if you are lucky. Some horrid American cereals too. If you want to eat there : pizza is $25 !!! The pool is the size of a fish tank. Staff is not always friendly. You cannot swim in the sea, too dangerous. Only + : close to the national park Manuel Antonio that can be reached through the beach. NB : Costa Rica is like an extension of the USA, so expensive, tacky

El mejor chiringuito de playa que he conocido de un hotel. No hace falta estar alojado para disfrutar de sus tumbonas bajo unos impresionantes árboles, de los que cuelgan osos perezosos. Two beach towels in your room. Comfy beds. Good lighting and water pressure. Percale sheets and very clean rooms. No telephone in room to call reception in another building if you have a question. No elevator to third floor. Easy ramp instead. Separate review of hotel restaurant Canto del Mar.

L’emplacement est parfait avec accès direct à la plage mais c’est bien le seul avantage de cet hôtel. Les chambres sentent le renfermé, le petit déjeuner est vraiment très pauvre en choix (pas de toast, pas de chocolat chaud pour les enfants, pas de beurre, très peu de fruit). Et nous avions eu la sensation d’arriver en fin de saison et de déranger le personnel, il y avait du bruit non stop autour de la piscine, avec des ouvriers qui ponçaient et vernissaient des poutres, qui passaient le karcher autour de la piscine alors que nous étions dedans et la tondeuse pendant 3h! L’hôtel est mal tenu c’est dommage car le lieu pourrait être incroyable si ils faisaient un effort!

The location is wonderful, featuring a very nice beach. The bungalows situated on the hill offer a stunning view; however, the climb to the top can be inconvenient if you have to do it multiple times a day.
To reach the beach or the restaurant where breakfast is served, you must cross a street with fast-moving cars. There is no clearly marked crosswalk, making it quite dangerous. Speed bumps are definitely needed in this area.
