We wanted to explore Wendake, the falls, the old church as well as the evening lumina light show. The place was ideal for our visit.

Loved it; the food was good and the staff even better.  With an on-site museum and long house surrounded by fall leaves, it was a very special place.  Thank you for everything!

I stayed at the Premiere National Museum Hotel in Quebec for two nights. It was a great experience. I also explored the unique culture of the Huron-Wendat tribe. I learned a lot!

Jadore cet endroit! C'est un depaysement total.  J'habite tout près et j'y vais pour le plaisir.  Toutefois, la grande deception est le restaurant la Traite ...prix, quantité, vin 20$ du verre, ..je n'y retournerais plus jamais.  Pour le reste, que du bonheur!

I love this place! It's a total change of scenery. I live nearby and go there for pleasure. However, the big disappointment is the La Traite restaurant...price, quantity, wine $20 a glass,...I would never go back there again. For the rest, only happiness!

Superior Queen Room

Stayed for a night as a quick getaway from the kids. The hotel site is easy to reach from downtown Quebec with and surrounded by nature and the old Wendake village. The rooms are well-appointed and several touches from the Huron-Wendat people are spread around the hotel and the rooms. The fireplace in the lobby gives off a warm vibe to the arrival. Overall all the staff was very friendly and the room (119) was very spacious, clean and quiet. We also had dinner at La Traite were we tried several local dishes with the Bison smoked steak being the highlight of the evening, along with several cocktails with a indigenous twist. We took advantage of the private tour of the museum and were amazed by the guide's knowledge and enthusiasm. We got to know so many things that aren't taught in history classes and also enjoyed the interactive canoe building exhibit. Highly recommended to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but mostly to surround yourself with the indigenous history.

Nice hotel. Host a wonderful museum for the Wendat nation. The restaurant is very good and everybody in the restaurant is extremely friendly and helpful. I traveled with my husband, my daughter and our dog. To be able to bring the dog to the hotel is advertise as a specific feature. We were given a basement room with direct exit outside, what was perfect for the dog. However for three persons and a dog, the room was extremely small. Even for two and a dog it would have been small. Somehow we did not get information about the area. They did not mention any possible activities either. We did almost all what was offered by the hotel and it was ok. We learnt a lot. However, Wendat has a very lively life and other places that showcase Wendat culture that complement nicely what the hotel shows It was a pity that no one informed us. 

Lovely atmosphere and an incredible restaurant. The staff giving tours was passionate and captivating. The rooms are similar to medium motel rooms but over double the price; the room smelled good until we used the bathroom and noticed there was no fan. Our key malfunctioned and we were trapped in the pool. The website has several errors: things we thought were included in our package were not included. I enjoyed the restaurant and the museum but don't recommend staying at the hotel. YOU MUST GO EAT BREAFKAST THERE!
