Kura Kura Resort Gili Meno Reviews

Had a wonderful stay at Kura Resort on Gili Meno! The room was comfortable and well-appointed, with a spacious bathroom that added to the relaxation. The pool was clean and perfect for cooling down. The view from the restaurant overlooking the beach was absolutely stunning. While the food was just okay, I found this to be pretty standard across the Gili Islands. Overall, Kura Resort provided a lovely, peaceful experience – would definitely recommend it for a relaxing getaway!

This is a cheap hotel so I wasn’t expecting anything amazing, however, this hotel fell way below standard. The pictures of the hotel on Trip are not accurate- in fact I can see one of the pictures is an AI render and is in no way representative of the actual hotel. The room is damp and dingy, not clean at all and the walls are crumbling. I had booked 3 nights and left after 2 as I really couldn’t stay here. It’s a shame because the staff here are amazing; very kind and attentive, genuinely interested in talking to me and helpful with suggesting what to do on the island. They seemed sad when I left early but o really needed to get out. The location is good, 5 mins walk from the port and they have a beach front restaurant. The food was average, but that was consistent across all the restaurants I tried on Gili Meno.

Everything about Kira Kira was fantastic! Location was great, staff was so kind and incredibly accommodating, room and bathroom were large and spotless. Spa services were great - felt like a high end resort for a reasonable price. Highly recommend!!

A very hard-working resort with a high cost-effectiveness. M Island is very quiet and the beach is the most beautiful in Indonesia. It is suitable for diving, but it is not so prosperous.

During the Spring Festival, my family of 6 came to Gili M Island and stayed at Kurakura. I strongly recommend staying here. It was better than I expected. Although the hotel is not a five-star hotel, the room is clean and big. Although it was the rainy season, we stayed for 5 days. Although there were many clouds, we encountered a light rain for 1 hour. It was heavier at night, which did not affect the fun at all. We booked a connecting room with 2 children. There were 2 large beds, 2 single beds, and 3 rooms in total. There is also a small swimming pool. The island is very quiet. I met 1 Chinese in 5 days during the Spring Festival. Turn right when you go out and you will see an ATM machine, where you can withdraw cash with UnionPay. You can only use cash on the island, not credit cards. It was really unexpected. The hotel is located at the M Island Pier, and it takes only 1 minute to get off the boat. You can rent a bicycle to go around the island. Walking past the pier on the left is a good snorkeling area, with huge corals, rich colors, many turtles, and even more fish. Turn right and walk a few minutes to the small turtle base. Cross to the other side of the island, ride a bike for 5 minutes, and go down to the sea to see the most famous underwater sculptures. There are also many turtles and lionfish here. The hotel staff is very enthusiastic and I love it here. The hotel restaurant is right at the door, facing the sea. The slow life on the island is great, a perfect trip for the Spring Festival.

Good hotel. The location to the beach and pier is simply ideal. Breakfast on the seashore. The rooms are tired, but not critical. The bed is comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly.

Convenient location, on the first line, right next to the pier from where the boat goes to Trawangan. For breakfast you can choose nasi goreng - quite filling. Breakfast with a pleasant sea view. There is a convenient hanger for drying things outside. The windows are only on the side of the doors; they always have to be curtained. A very old, yellowed toilet seat should be replaced.

For such an island, this is a good hotel, the staff are great, they solve everything, give advice on everything, the room is more or less suitable for a short stay, we stayed for 2 nights, the most important advantage, in our opinion, is that breakfasts are held on the shore and you can always have a snack here. The hotel is located about 30 meters to the left of the pier where the boats arrive. Having a snack with a view of the ocean is worth a lot.

I really liked the island and the very quiet and clean hotel with friendly staff. The breakfast at the hotel was very tasty.
